Plate racing is more difficult irl too now. The drivers have mentioned getting runs is hard now.

Career mode schedule is the 2020 schedule minus Indianapolis, Kentucky and Chicagoland

One main thing I noticed is the high line seems to be a lot more effective at Bristol. The AI seems to favor the 2nd and 3rd lane over the bottom lane

We need a NASCAR game that has throw back drivers and cars from all eras 60 70 80 90s and drivers Bobby Allison davey Allison waltrips Earnhardts labontes gordon Wallace etc

No custom paint schemes? That was always my favorite part about these games. Bad call to get rid of it

We took Monster Games for granite. They started off rocky, but honestly H4 and 5 are two of the best NASCAR games in recent years. I feel they've ran their course on making NASCAR games, it's time for a new dev, but Motorsports games is an absolute calamity, and NASCAR isnt the only license they've snatched up and will hold hostage for the next decade. SRX The Game is really fun as well. These guys deserve more appreciation.

I think the superspeedway is just accurate to real-life maybe idk.

The draft is more effective like irl, the sidedraft is powerful, online racing is real fun: it’s a good update whether people hate or not

Chicago street course was not part off the 2022 schedule, it was added to the schedule this year

Since the Career Mode uses the 2020 schedule, it means that the removed race tracks are Chicagoland, Kentucky, and Atlanta. Don't ask why the devs removed Atlanta from the schedule when it's already in the 2022 DLC

Gowen said that the dlc uses the ignition template, I would expect the 2022 mod with all the schemes in the next week because the modding community is that much better than msg

I know a majority of people dislike Heat 5 on some level, but I think those people owe this game an apology. It's NOT that bad as they claim it is. Anyways, concerning the DLC: there is no excuse for not having the 2023 after all this time waiting for the 2022 content.

Looks like Radman is also inflicted with curse that is Daytona. If you're in the lead before the final lap, you lose. No driver has ever won being in first after the g-w-c and overtime rule. Even without overtime, it's still not possible.

I don't mind not having side crash damage since the front and rear damage looks so good. But side paint damage and scrapes would be great.

It appears that the game continues to use the original/intended 2020 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, however there are the notable exceptions to what's there: Indianapolis, Chicagoland, and Kentucky. It's possible that these were removed because of the fact that they weren't run at in 2022, or had a layout change since, and therefore just decided to forego having them be part of the schedule in-game.... Which makes no sense since the Indy road course is ALREADY IN THE GAME......

I’m happy this update finally came out, even though it’s not 2023 I’m still pleased to have it.

No COTA? No Nashville? No LA Clash? One of the things they said they’d include were 2022 tracks, I was excited for this. All they did was make Bristol Dirt, already used in the dirt series, accessible to the cup cars. What were they doing this entire time? OH NO IT GETS BETTER! I HAVE THE GOLD EDITION OF THIS GODDAMN GAME AND IT STILL WANTS ME TO PAY 10 DOLLARS!?! NOT EVEN EA IS THIS SCUMMY

i hope that the next nascar developer can get the greenlight to make a game title NASCAR GENERATIONS the name says it all multiple eras of racing.

It goes to show how little the company cares when the shifting still takes the same amount of time, even though the gearbox is sequential now. The pit stops still being slow as hell, is also stupid. Man, the game overall could’ve used some TLC as it is 3+ years old now.

In career mode, we are missing COTA, Bristol Dirt, Nashville that I know of

What i dont get is how MSG is able to sell a new product with old licenses.

It works for online and race now but if you have a 2020 custom season or career it will break it same with settings

Cota, gateway, and Nashville are missing and some tracks seem to have 2 dates where they're supposed to have 1.

Gateway, Road America, COTA, Nashville, and Bristol dirt were all missing from that schedule at first glance. Three of those are in the game already so idk what the problem is...

I believe the missing tracks are the road courses and Nashville. So essentially any track after 2020 is not in the game. if I’m not mistaken Road America, Chicago, Nashville

What i’ve been told is that the Next Gen cars in this game seem to run at draft speed even when not drafting. Definitely feels more difficult to qualify, or even keep up unless you’re drafting

Man the graphics for NASCAR video games has become insanely amazing and more realistic than ever before if NASCAR games when I was a kid back in the early 2000s was this good I would never leave the house I'd be playing NASCAR all day but I got I racing which is more realistic but this looks like a fun choice when I don't want to be serious and same with the Tony Stewart dirt racing games on my Xbox One

Ps4 user here. In the next gen mode of the game, it has crashed on me several times now. In the 2020 mode, DLC paint schemes are missing

It is actually really tragic that Nascar gets neglected game wise. For the fact the top 15 Nascar games has majority of the games being early 2000's, even with one from the damn 90's that is still supported shout out to the beautiful, beautiful Modders keeping it alive. Says it all. Imagine if EA never brought out that Nascar game and the original dev team was allowed to blossom. What could have been!!! Legit, Nascar games I think of the stereotypical rich guy in a suit chucking money at a dev team, "make the picture pretty, f*ck everything else that makes up a racing game." 🤣🤣🤣

I bought it and downloaded the DLC, nothing new showed up. reinstalled heat 5, again nothing new

The only issue I've been having with it is when you close the game you lose all your progress

2020 is unusable and nothing saves if you go to the main screen or exit the game. Otherwise the racing wasn’t bad. I’m On ps5 Edit: I know it’s not ideal but I noticed someone else mention in the comments it may have to do with saves created before the update so I deleted my save file. All my above issues were fixed

Now that they have 2022 though 23 would be mostly adding new skins

Hey Radman , When the Bristol dirt race was added to the season, it replaced the normal Bristol race that was a night race .

No Nashville or Cota, Did not add any new tracks just took Dirt Bristol And allowed cup cars to run on it

For PlayStation, the game is more difficult for Daytona too. It’s not just for pc. The qualifying is slower and you’re 4 seconds slower and start in last place

AI’s feel a lot harder. On normal and still can’t win a race.

Bristol dirt was already in the game, just in the xtreme dirt tour series only.

When you started the game, you selected 2022. Of course you’re gonna be in the next gen car online. If you wanna race 2020 online, you start the game in 2020 season.

Mine crashes every time I finish an online race, try to change my car online (ex. I selected Bubba, then tried to change to Bell and Harvick), Also crashed when I tried to start career mode and crashed after a Split Screen race [Im on PS5]

When is it coming to the Xbox one? I looked today but never came up
