Asking if Lucas "deserves redemption" requires the assumption that he did something wrong. Based on the evidence, he didn't.

This video didn’t talk about all the evidence that was uncovered to be outright faked/photoshopped. All the dates that the accusers said he was with her/them, but he was proven to be on the other side of the world. You ask why he didn’t apologize to the “victims”? Well, there were no victims. You really should do more research and get more informed on what really happened.

I mean this who situation happened because he exposed Wayv's stalkers on Bubble after he was literally begging them to stop following them. The girl who started the whole thing has been stalking NCT since 2015; she even snuck in to Mark's graduation (there's photos of that). There's photos of her at the airport following Wayv, there's witnesses who exposed her for trying to get not only on the same flight as Wayv but to sit next to them as well. She's been seen STILL following Wayv, bragging on social media about how she's happy she made it happen for Lucas when he dropped his documentary, etc. At this point I don't understand why people took her claims as truth anyways.

Another thing that points to his innocence is the lack of reaction from the Chinese government, the Chinese government does not play about crimes of these nature. He would have been blacklisted and what not if these accusations were true. Just look at what they did to Kris Wu

True journalism is just taking about the situation, reporting the facts etc. Once you start putting your own opinions in it, it becomes very bias. How can you make a public video and ask the public does Lucas deserve redemption but you put your own opinion and thoughts in the video and that can possibly change someone else’s mind. One thing I don’t like in Korea is that you just have to say sorry but you can’t say what for. We don’t know the whole story. At all. There was so many allegations he could have just been like sorry for worrying his fans. Let’s be honest, SM is not gonna allow him to so the fact he addressed it in his song in a huge deal. What's funny to me is that the guy who made the video asked us to be imparcial but he's very biased and one-sided. Not only did he start tellin the story rong (because it all started with Lucas exposing sasaengs that were following Wayv around that THEN created those rumours about him) but his take in the situation is all very negative, and you can see that well. Also he mentions Jessica and Seunghan but he doesn't mention Kris Wu? Another Chinese idol that actually commited a crime and got blacklisted by the kpop industry + the Chinese government arrested him ?? He clearly was stating the information he wanted to, not giving us the whole picture. Please read firther into this situation, knowing that sasaengs aren't victims, they're kpop idol's worst nightmare and they can ruin someone's life.

Lucas called out Sasaengs for stalking them. The sasaengs made up a scandal about him. That’s what happened. I’m so happy he is back and he deserves to hear nothing but positive and encouraging words.

The abusing people and the cheating was proven to be false, but people continued to throw shade at him regardless bc he had haters already. However, what I take from the documentary is that he feels like he did the members wrong by deciding not to say anything or defend himself because of how much the entire situation affected him. So, from my perspective, he's not admitting to have done anything but let other people down by not pressing charges and by just disappearing

The issue ended for me pretty quickly since almost everything got proven false. It's just that many kpop stans are sheep and they like hating on idols just because. I hate sm too btw, I wish that he had left that company. Even half of Shinee left after so many years.

I think you should do more research about the situation than just watching a video with misinformation. Lucas has apologized not once but twice even the girls who were saying that Lucas did those things later came out to say the accusations were a lie.

The way I see it and how I’ve explained it to my friends is, we don’t know the full story. If he is a criminal, he would have been let go and been submitted to authorities ages ago. I’m not going to further punish someone who might have been at worst a fuck-boi. If whatever that girl was saying was true, then he’s done his time away from the spotlight and is tentatively restarting his career. He’s from China and if he was truly guilty, they would have disappeared him from ALL content. Considering he’s having a fansign in Hong Kong, then that let’s me know of his status. Who am I to talk down to him and not keep an open-mind to his music and future? I trust him more as an idol going forward for having experienced this as opposed to many other male idols who have skeletons in their closet to be exposed (I’m thinking of Open World Entertainment and Burning Sun). Yes!!! Lucas deserves this..he's owed an apology from SM.. PERIOD!! SM's complete ineptness in protecting their artists from delusional fans and their lies cost Lucas 3 years of his life and career. Unless we can see all the evidence , all the testimonies and the facts we have no way of knowing really, it’s not fair when we don’t know the full truth of what’s happened ALOT of people were proven wrong and then others tried to back out of their claims. he had done the right thing by exposing the sasaeng, but this was a reward for the good he did. I pity him I think some of the accusations he received are true, and the rest are just exaggerated by haters and the media. I think Lucas is also a victim here. Maybe he is aware that the behavior he shows to the public is not all that can be accepted by other people and invites haters to continue to blaspheme and blame and even exaggerate the situation at that time. Therefore he said "if I hadn't done that, something like this would definitely not have happened." There is a lot of evidence whose truth is not validated, much of it proves that all the accusations are false. But I think this is a bad habit of SM not handling it well, this is also related to him being an idol from China. It would be different if he was a Korean idol. We will never know what happened. Only the people who were involved will know. Yeah you can guess but what you are guessing is not fact. He admitted , he served some sort of punishment (not being able to perform and be part of the industry) so now he should deserve some sort of new start. Nobody deserves death threats and abuse.
