Gordon Simpson he always runs two cars at a time. More than likely the GT3 will go around the time he owns the RS6 and the A45. Then he will sell one of those and buy a new super car at some stage. Notice how he’s selling the A35 now to buy a “winter suv.” That will be gone whenever one of the two aforementioned cars arrive. This is all just speculation of course. Running three cars might be a bit much at any one time.

There is a reason for the £25K cut off. That's the upper limit for unsecured personal bank lending in the UK. Over that amount security is required. Car finance is asset based (secured on the vehicle) and comes with a certain cost - 6% to 11% apr and only makes sense above 25k. Under £25K bank loans are just cheaper.

They explained it once before, in simple terms yes they do as Khalid said. However, for the more expensive 2nd hand cars they usually get a car at trade price which helps slightly, then put in a reasonable deposit. They usually go for a car that has good residual values or even look for stuff that is on the up price wise. To the financier that is then low risk, they can keep the interest and monthly payments relatively low and move them on quite quickly without losing an arm and a leg. (Take off the deposit and guaranteed future value, the rest is financed) Because they have links with people like redline it’s pretty easy to sell it back to them at trade price. Stuff like this A35, he’ll lose quite a bit - his deposit and all those monthly payments.
