Eyy I've been hoping you guys would review this. Less and less hot hatches in 2020 but glad this one exists!

This is the only modern Mercedes I like. The taillights look blobby, but overall, not too bad. I do LOVE where Mercedes puts the disable button for the auto engine start-stop feature: immediately below the ignition. That is the perfect spot for that.

A45s is what Canada needs, this one is the so-so edition. Canada gets screwed on alot of nice cars and upper models from some brands. I doubt we'll ever see the A45s, which is a shame cause the specs are much more exciting.

I remember I said you would hit a million subscribers last year but you eventually did and your content keeps getting better. Unlike other bigger channels who starts to slack because of their huge following. Do you think you'd ever review older and odd cars? Perhaps a Lincoln town car? 2005-2011.

Smoking Tyre's may have been around longer but, Straight Pipes videos are well polished.

I purchased the CLA 35 amg back in October preorder 2019... finally got it 2020 March 9th.. I’m happy with it, fits my 3 kids and gas mileage is great is comfort.. came out to $63,000 Canadian.. great car overall.. anyone looking at this car, I’d look into the 45.. that extra 80HP I wish I had lol... great review guys! Keep it up! 🍻

What a great all around hot hatch, especially with the aero kit. DCT it’s quick and the sounds are great, looks great outside and inside.

Before I purchased the 2017 Focus RS, I looked at this model AMG. It is truly an engineering gem with the power the pushed out of this 4cyl engine. It sounds great! Interior is really nice to boot.

I would probably get the Golf R over the A35 and pocket the difference. There is differently a class difference between these two so I don't know if they are necessarily competing, the price difference is substantial. I think cars would be considered in competition if the price was within maybe 5 grand max. There isn't much performance wise that separates this vs. the R so unless you really are looking for that next level luxury and the badge, it's too much of a premium IMHO. The A45 AMG however, now that is a huge leap in every aspect. Then again, I can only imagine how much more expensive that is.

I hate how so many people constantly bash these cars for not being a “real” AMG when the W210 E55, W208 CLK55, and W203 C55s were considered real AMGs. They all had the basic M113 V8 with very minor modifications (displacement increase from 5-5.4L) and were just generally cobbled together parts bins cars. Albeit some pretty good parts. All had the same basic 5 speed auto. Etc. This is faster than all the above mentioned cars, has more changes from AMG than the other models, and has a higher increase in performance from the lesser version than the above mentioned cars. Hell, AMG even tuned a turbo 4 Mitsubishi Galant in the early 90’s.

So there needs to be a crossover road test car review which should include -trio from grand tour -jay leno -these guys -tiff needel -car wow guy Matt Watson -many more. Keep adding to the list. The ultimate car review panel. 😂 imagine the arguments. I missed many great other reviewers.

The crossover trend is so ridiculous to me when you get a hatchback and (in lots of them) still fit plenty of stuff, not be cramped in the back seat, have better handling, get better gas mileage, and with hot hatches, have fun performance. Hatchbacks are the best!

I bought the GLA 45 AMG based on the review they did on it because they looked like they were having a lot of fun. the A35 seems just as fun to drive but with updated infotainment.
