One character I'm surprised that hasn't been included in Mortal Kombat is The Hell Priest from Hellraiser. Although commonly referred to as Pinhead, The Hell Priest despises that fanmade nickname as does Clive Barker the author The Hellbound Heart and director of the film Hellraiser.
Omni-Man is a 100% perfect choice. he's very brutal, and very questionable in terms of morals. Peacemaker is the DC character this time arround, so as long as he's the only one or one more then we'll be fine with it. Homelander is kinda just Omni-Man, but with both of them having different styles of kombat and them prioritizing some abilities more than others i think Homelander is worth it for all of the references and funny dialogues.
I think we might have a shot with Terrifier given this first DLC is for ultra violent character and he takes the cake for being ULTRA violent lol and we def need Michael Myers since Freddy,Jason and Leatherface all have been in previous games
I hope John Cena and Antony Starr will use their voice and likeness for Christopher Smith Peacemaker and John Gillman The Homelander from The Boys in Mortal Kombat 1
@ShredGaming Nice will John Cena and Antony Starr will use their voice and likeness for Christopher Smith Peacemaker and John Gillman The Homelander from The Boys in Mortal Kombat 1
I think Homelander should be a Zone-Rusher like some variations of Jax in MK11, where he zones you into a favorable position with his laser eyes or some high knockback melee special and then rushes you down when your close in the corner
Omin man yes homelander I love him no homo but no he shouldn't, peacemaker could be like a Robocop or a Deathstroke character I hope they give him combos no combos means no go
Peacemaker imo is the only one that makes sense to be in the MK roster, as although he has achieved peak human capabilities he is still just that human. Realistically everyone in the MK universe has a chance to beat him just like how he has a chance to beat them. Now Omniman and Homelander are both otherworldly in terms of their abilities (Homelander is still a earthling). In terms of durability no one would be able to damage them outside of maybe Liu Kang and how much damage he could do to them is debatable. In terms of raw physical strength they vastly exceed any other combatant and could most likely one shot all of them. Their speed also exceeds any of the other combatants where they could blitz them faster than they could react. Homelander has something that would make it extremely hard for any MK combatant to counter would be his heat vision coupled with his flight, where he could reach them, but they can't reach him. So again I don't think Omniman and Homelander belong in MK, but its still cool to see them there and I can't wait to see what their movelist will look like.
Oh hell yeah i almost Forgot Peacemaker is apart of the DC Universe. Yknow damn well he's gonna make a reference to Superman when he's up against homelander
Only omni man fits imo. The boys are good but I feel like in comparison to the comic season the comic was relatively obscure until the TV show. Peacemaker doesn’t fit. He is a joke character only taken seriously when James Gunn released his suicide squad. To each their own about James Gunns current direction with DC but I would have pick Red Son Superman over any of these three. Too bad Russia has to Russia though lol
My only concern is the amount of people that actually know who they are. Before the Kombat pack was announced I didn't know who they were except for Peacemaker. If people are happy and they enjoy the characters that's cool. Personally I rather have more MK characters in the Kombat pack.
Maybe go watch the shows. They're brutal! Fun, funny. Gory! No need for concern. These characters are known by many. Not knowing about them yourself doesn't equate to how well known they are. I hope you get into the shows those guys are from. I really hope you enjoy them, man. Take it easy!
