Welcome to the first episode of the brand new Podcast, The State Of It, with me your host Lewis Brackpool, talking all things Politics, Culture and Agendas.
In this first episode, I welcome my friend David Kurten.
David is the leader of the Heritage Party in the United Kingdom, which advocates for free speech, traditional family values, and national sovereignty while incorporating Christian ideas within the party. David also hosts a show with the broadcaster TNT (Today's News Talk) Monday through Friday that examines the current news, geopolitics, and culture, as well as conversations with guests who are "fighting back against the system." You may also recognise David as a London Assembly member from 2016 to 2021 who repeatedly questioned Sadiq Khan's administration of London, and his videos are still available online.
In this episode, we discussed the key topics of voting and why many people don't want to vote, particularly in general and local elections. On how Britain became a secular country and why, where prior ONS data showed that 46.2% of the population identified as 'Christian' in 2021, and finally, on the topic of political transformation and what steps David would take to alter the current condition of Westminster and politics in the UK.

Thank you both for a very well presented video and served as a good reminder regarding NGO'S in the manifesto and furthermore how government is also local government where NGO'S play a huge part influencing so much negative decision making ensuring a terrible impact on our heritage. In such dark times it is uplifting to hear Jesus's name.

One little correction around 42 mins in David. Despite the 10+ million abortions since 1967 legislation, abortion hasn’t been decriminalised completely. The serious situation now is that Johnson MP for Hull and Creasy MP for Walthamstow are pushing for the complete decriminalisation of abortion by anyone for any reason right up to birth without any input of medical advice. In other words you can be convicted and put into jail for killing a baby a day or two after a baby has been born, but no conviction or jail for doing the same thing up to the day of birth. In fact doctors are paid handsomely for killing babies up to birth by the hundreds every week in this country. Another example of the madness that so many turn a blind eye to😔

42:40 ♥ - exactly. These infants are REAL human beings. I'm a Christian too though, and I feel like, if a 13 year old girl is attacked by a bunch of Muslims and becomes pregnant, would God really expect that girl to go through with the pregnancy? I know the Bible is black and white, but God isn't a robot, so I've got mixed feelings about it. I've got a lot of time for David and enjoyed this, looking forward to more
