Does Philips Hue Suck? An Alternative LED Light by Gledopto 

Philips hue is good but I always like to see other brands too. Liked 👍

What happened to you showing the Gledopto light strip? Was the footage lost?

Thanks for the great video. Does this work with the PHILIPS HUE accessories, like switches, etc....?

Gledopto produced faulty LED controllers for over 2 years. Before this, their original devices worked perfect and I adorned houses with them! Why faulty... try Hue nightlight (red instead of warm orange as the LED) function or low light colour fades 10% brightness (epileptic disco function)! After being told that I was incompetent for 2 years, Gledopto finally tested their product and confirmed it was faulty incorrectly programmed junk! Solution should have been to refund, correct or exchange 2 years of my faulty products (8 devices). Did they... no, they just corrected the software, changed the colour of the product to black and added the words Pro... and doubled the price!!! While I'm not a fan of Philips fan, double to pay for same product with corrected software is a slap around the face!

Philips Hue does not suck, I been using many hue devices including LED under my cabinets, behind TV, OUTDOOR WALKWAYS, it's performing beautifully inculding the one outside especially in the wet environments, Great product

Why are your not modeling if you not already? Drop dead gorgeous I have a few Lifx bulbs and mostly Hue bulbs. Hue is expensive, I usually wait for a deal to pick some up. Have not tried any cheap options. I do like my Hue bulbs but just dont want to try the other bulbs because they my be disappointing in comparison to Hue. Saving or not, I go for quality then going cheap.

so would they work with an echo plus ...so no hue hub needed ???

How would you connect the downlight to the alexa voice command?

Big thing is HOMEKIT. These show up in homekit?

Phillips Hue has a nice selection of Smart bulbs, Lightstrips and accessories. I'm thinking about replacing the Walkway and Driveway lights with the Philips Hue Calla ( LED ) path lights.

Sorry, but I love hue, the colors are much deeper and fuller, the hue lamps never failed on my even after 5 years of use, while many chinese cheaper solutions failed before and adding new one over time give the same light. Love to try the strip sets, since this is weak at HUE.

Yes it does. I sincerely wonder how useful the 16 million or even 7 colours are. I guess initially people will play with it, thinking it's great, but I guess in practice people will probably use cold white and warm white

It's easy to get one or two things to work sitting in front of you but setting times and coordinating and physically placing the hue lights is a different story. You really need an computer engineering degree ie hue is not user friendly.

Maybe Philips Hue sucks from time to time. But Gledopto sucks even more. The Gledopto Controller, are so unstable, that it works maybe 2 out of 10 times. The worst shit I have used.
