your hairloss will probably come back if you stop with the treatment, it always depends what the causation for your hairloss is, wether it be inflammation, nutritional or genetic (alopecia). People with genetic hairloss have to treat it their whole lifes with with dht blockers or at least until the hairloss fully stabilizes. hope that helped.

DIM will not block the DHT from being formed as Saw Palmetto and Nettle would, but it blocks the DHT from getting to androgen receptors (which is how it attacks the hair). @@WilliamGaunitzTrichologist my hair loss is androgenic alopecia (for years and years). My lab tests are ok (total and free testosterone, prolactin, etc). I had bad sexual adverse effects from propecia years back (although it helped my hair a lot a lot). I gave saw palmetto a try as I heard it doesn’t cause the same side effects as finasteride, but unfortunately I experienced clear drop in libido and no morning erection, very sadly.

Things like Saw Palmetto, Finesteride and Dutasteride are NOT for women. DHT blockers stop testosterone from converting to DHT. Women do not produce enough testosterone to justify these products. If you are experiencing hair loss as a woman, it could be pregnancy related. My sister lost A LOT of hair during and after being pregnant. First time she lost hair for 2 years. She now uses rosemary oil/water and swears by it. It started bringing her hair back rather quickly. Its better for women, more recommended than menoxidil among women. Use rosemary oil/water products, maybe some biotin. It will work womders for you if you experiencing hair loss as a woman.

@@che4840 That is a specific use case, but again if you are a woman minoxidil 2% and Rosemary are the best choices. Rosemary is the best choice as it's the most natural and shown to have the same effect. My sister used it, and it worked very well.

Hardly any, it naturally reduces DHT levels by around 10-20% i believe, so look out for signs of reduced libido but that should only happen for people with inherently low Testosterone levels so 0.0000000000000001%
