Thank you very much for this video. It has always been a question of mine as to why there is insufficient research in relation to natural remedies for hair loss. You have answered that question now and it seems quite obvious, no money for pharmaceutical companies to invest in such products.
Hi, I saw many video talking about applying rosemary essential oil on the scalp, but how about having rosemary extract pill? do you think it is also a way to reduce hair lose as well? i cant find any study about this, but does this scientifically works? i am having rosemary extract for maybe half year, but i cant see significant different on my scalp, thanks for answering!
Will Rosemary oil have the same effect on facial hair, like eyebrows/beard. Since facial hair reacts different to DHT than scalp hair, would it still be beneficial to apply this to facial hair? Thanks :)
Natural treatment did actually worked for me on the hairline with visible changes and hair count however DHT eventually caught up and had to get on more potent chemical treatment to stop male pattern baldness . I believe the natural ways is really suited and works 100% for female hair loss
Dr I need help! I'm loosing obsene amount of hair after a salon based chemical straightening. The chemical wasn't washed out properly of my head and my scalp health deteriorarted initially. Also, my hair were damaged. I've lost more than 60 percent hair in 6 months all over scalp and still shedding isn't subsiding. I can see regrowth. I'm taking treatment from the very beginning. I've taken hair fact and other prescribed vitamins. The hairloss was extremely severe. Is there a chance that my follicles got damaged as there was no burn! Please suggest the right line of treatment. I was suggested minoxidil but didn't use as it started as talogen effluvium and i thought that id have to rely on it lifetime. So, I took homeopathy treatment. However, it turned to fphl so, I'm really looking forward to more practical allopathy treatments. Please suggest Minoxidil, gfc? How to go about it?
what is the name of the company and brand or whatever of the bottle you are holding that has the topical combo? i would like to give that a shot and see if it helps. if it does, great, if not, i will also try some other things
One thing rarely discussed....the LIVER..... I once had thinning hair because of a blood test that showed a liver issue....i took liver supplements and my hair thickrned😅
I moved to London 3 years ago and back home green tea is predominant beverage. I had hair loss even before that, but it got a lot worse once I moved. I thought it was the lack of sun and bad diet and COVID related stress, but never thought that tea was also one of the causes. I basically didn't drink any green tea for 2 years and just started it again. Thank you for this video for it helped me understand the reasons behind my hair loss, and what I can change to make my hair healthier.
@@nickstellas2367 I'm not saying any of that. I said the previously I used to drink green tea basically whole day, but since coming to the UK, I'm only drinking either water or carbonated drinks. I'm thinking that this was one of the reasons why my hair loss got worse since moving to the UK
@@tsarbomb_chan2537 Sorry darling but drinking or not drinking tea will never have an actual noticeable impact on hair loss!!!!!!!!! Green tea has anti DHT compounds and amazing anti oxidant benefits and yes it can do amazing things topically and internally but not as a stand-alone treatment! It will show results when combined with other modalities! Drinking tea alone will do zero!
I would encourage anyone suffering from male pattern baldness to strongly consider medical treatments such as minoxidil and or finasteride I tried natural remedies for about a year with some limited amount of success but not what I was hoping for I started minoxidil and finasteride and have been seeing much greater results so far with minimal to no side effects natural remedies are not a bad thing and some are certainly worth trying out but not solely depending on
HELLO NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE!...I am 21 years old and I am having MPB too. Past 1.5years, my temple area have been mild receeded as suggested by my dermatologist. I have started medications 2months ago like derma rolling, rosemary plus coconut oil and taking vitamins biotin as supplements. The temple area is still the same, there are some baby hairs. But I dont know if they grew after medication or its the existing hairs that got thinned. My derma suggested me minox., but I dont want to use it right now because of its life long treatment. Can you please share your thoughts?? It freaks me out while looking at my lowering of my hair density. Can I grow them back considering I am seeing some baby hairs(doubt).?
@INSOMNI_A Well it normally takes at least 4-6 months for a new hair treatment to really show its benefits so I wouldn't give up on what you're currently doing if you're cause is MPB the most important thing to do to prevent further hair loss is to block your DHT with something like finasteride or even look into natural DHT blockers if you want to stay the natural route I understand not wanting to take a medication long term but it's just 1 pill 3-5 times a week if you have side effects just stop same thing with minoxidil I understand not wanting to use it it took me years to get desperate enough to try it but it only takes a few minutes applying it each day its like brushing your teeth and if you can't stand it just stop you could also look into low level laser if you absolutely don't want to use medication
I was having some severe hair fall and I stabilized by doing the following: Taking natural DHT blockers, vitamins that promote hair growth, rosemary oil shampoo, derma roller once a week. Basically, block the hormones, help the hair and scalp with vitamins, and physically massage the scalp.
@@R-cakes Stinging nettle, saw palmetto, pumpkin seeds. There are others but basically certain plants (which are also made into supplements) can block the DHT without having to use a lab-made medication.
@@DavidRanalliI’ve noticed that natural remedies also work a lot quicker in stopping hair loss. You don’t have those crazy shedding phases that people get on pharmaceuticals.
@@78skj I take capsules of saw palmetto and stinging nettle root. I also attempt to eat pumpkin seeds and other foods that have it. The supplements ensure I do get it
I've been using the serum of reactivate from litlllextra for the past month and totally moved away from my old serum for the past two months. It's been great. I just apply it once daily with the spray pump included with the serum. It's really easy to apply, non greasy, and no scent. The hair growth results are up to now so good, and it's only one month only and I plan to keep to apply it.
Since I began using liitllextrra coco onioon shampoo and hair conditioner, there's been a good reduction in hair fall. My hair feels softer and looks shinier. When I used other shampoos I faced more hair fall. Additionally, I've started using a scalp massager which I believe is also contributing to reducing hair fall.
@@Aleph6 So there is this channel called HairGuard, they say that scalp tension correlates with male pattern baldness and that it may be one of the causes of hair loss, so massages may help. They have a video about it called Scalp Massage For Hair Growth: Mega Guide 2020 . They show scientfic research about massages. So it would be great if the doctors talk about it! Cheers
I wish I had started with Finasteride at least 2 years before I did instead of relying on natural remedies. The only one that kind of worked was saw palmetto. I guess I was one of lucky 95% that get no side effects.
@@Zarroc64G For that figure, I meant Finasteride. I remember reading the summary of medical studies from Japan and Germany, about 4 years ago. That's what got me convinced to start with finasteride. 3 years and counting with Finasteride, I'm 41, no side effects, and my hair loss stopped completely (after a year) but got little to not regrowth, but thickened what I had left, I'm about Norwood 2.5
@@carlosa.g.z.7755 Thank you very much for that piece of experience. You make me want to start finasteride too! I would say I'm a Norwood 3, but still have a lot of hair to hide everything. Now I feel some thinning here and there so... Finasteride seems to be the answer. Just a last question: what dosage do you take?
@@Zarroc64G I buy 5mg pills, generic, and then I cut them in 5 pieces, so as to get 1mg. I take it with a glass of water a day every morning as soon as I wake up.
Very nice.... Everyone should try these remedies to keep their hair long and strong... but along with theses currently i am using Go richh hair oil by PLanet AYurveda
Dr how can I find your number because I really wanna come to Sydney to do my hair that injection how many time is it have to do with the injection is it one time? Thank you
What about Horsetail silica? It’s very popular where I come from, my close family members swear by it, and I take it myself, but I’m not certain if it does anything. As I understand, it dopes you up with the stuff hair is made of. I’m thinking, there is no reason not to give your body in abundance anything it needs to grow hair. But maybe I’m incorrect?
I used to take horsetail but saw no results. The ingredient you mentioned is called silica. But bamboo root extract contains a lot more of it than horsetail. And horsetail contains small amounts of nicotine btw. I take bamboo root extract just for skin and nails as I do believe it has made my skin clearer and nails get stronger. But as far as hair goes, I don't think it does much if anything.
I apply minoxidil once every day, microneedle once a week and then apply a mixture of pumpkin seed oil and rosemary oil twice a week. The oils are quite nice since I found in the first week of minoxidil after about 6 days my scalp starts to feel a little dry so applying the oils twice a week stopped this
Thanks for videos on Natural remedies. Please do help me with my query Why didn't Saw palmetto breakthrough into your list ? Doesn't taking a lot of 5 alpha inhibitors affect the systemic DHT levels which are used by many other body sources ? In such a scenario topical or scalp level 5 alpha inhibitors compared to systemic are better ? If so do we have any options for that now ?
If you watched the video properly, you would've heard him say that he's already covered saw palmetto previously, and that this list is in addition to that. 3.18😉 Edit, in response to your second query, the natural DHT blockers are not nearly as strong as finasteride, hence you will experience minimal if any side effects taking the natural supps. For your third query, I would like to hear his response, from what I know, I'd say systemic is more effective than topical, but more potential side effects.
Also look into these easily obtainable DHT blockers: Pumpkin seed oil, beta sitosterol, stinging nettle root. Definitely add micro needling to your routine, some studies showing its more effective than minoxidil alone. I've recently started using a 0.5mm dermaroller, looking to go a bigger needle size once I'm used to this.
Hi everyone, i have a question that i want some advice on. I started taking finasteride and minoxidil about 4 months ago and noticed amazing results and a lot of regrowth. after the 4 months mark which is now, i have noticed when i shower or rub my hair a lot of hair falling out a lot more than normal or more than the first 3 months which was virtually none. is this normal or due to something changing in my lifestyle? the only difference i have made was i began to take creatine as i exercise daily.
Exactly the same thing is happening to me. I was taking finasteride and it worked very well but after 4 months the hair is flying like crazy, about 300-400 a day. Also, I started taking creatine. 2 weeks ago I changed from finasteride to dutasteride but so far I don't see any change.
@@Kingofkings955 Dutasteride helped. It stopped my hair loss completely. I recommend that you switch to dutasteride as soon as possible (it takes like 3 months to start working)
Nutrafol doesn’t work for hairloss. Is just biotin, saw palmetto, zinc. Just a multivitamin. If it did work you’ll see people talk about it other than sponsor videos. Not to say it won’t make your hair look healthier but it doesn’t stop Male pattern baldness.
Fin is gods gift 😂 I might dangle around with ingesting castors oil I’ve heard many testimonies of growing thicker hair, but also thicker and coarse body hair
@@JJDogz lower your dose to a quarter mg and take it a couple of times a week. Also bare with the sides for some time if they don’t go away then reconsider. Testicle pain when you just started the med doesn’t mean you should stop!
I was on finasteride for seven months. I ended up getting gynecomastia and had to stop it. After a year off finasteride, half my hair gains went away. Currently, I'm on minoxidil + microneedling + redensyl + topical saw palmetto + rosemary oil + ketoconazole shampoo. I kid you not, this regime has grown more hair in one and a half months than finasteride grew in seven months! No sides, nothing. I've never been happier.
One of the sides that i'm afraid of, is gynecomatsia! so please can tell me the first signs that you get of gyno ? and when you stopped finasteride, does the gyno go away or stay ? and is there any specific blood analysis that i can take before starting finasteride to make sure if i'm vulnerable to get gynecomtasia from taking finasteride ? because i remember someone tell me that taking (estrogen and endrogen blood test) can help to know if it's safe for you to try finasteride without getting gyno as a side effect

@@im_that_guy Abstract Peppermint (Mentha piperita) is a plant native to Europe and has been widely used as a carminative and gastric stimulant worldwide. This plant also has been used in cosmetic formulations as a fragrance component and skin conditioning agent. This study investigated the effect of peppermint oil on hair growth in C57BL/6 mice. The animals were randomized into 4 groups based on different topical applications: saline (SA), jojoba oil (JO), 3% minoxidil (MXD), and 3% peppermint oil (PEO). The hair growth effects of the 4-week topical applications were evaluated in terms of hair growth, histological analysis, enzymatic activity of alkaline phosphatase (ALP), and gene expression of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), known bio-markers for the enhanced hair growth. Of the 4 experimental groups, PEO group showed the most prominent hair growth effects; a significant increase in dermal thickness, follicle number, and follicle depth. ALP activity and IGF-1 expression also significantly increased in PEO group. Body weight gain and food efficiency were not significantly different between groups. These results suggest that PEO induces a rapid anagen stage and could be used for a practical agent for hair growth without change of body weight gain and food efficiency. Just google ncbi peppermint oil vs minoxidil...note the study was done with mice
I’ve been using peppermint for 2 weeks now, already noticed a reduction in hair loss. On top of that, it feels so soothing resting on my head. It’s like an intense cooling sensation, makes me happy knowing that it’s also providing blood flow to the head. Use in conjunction with pumpkin seed and castor oil and it will work wonders
