It’s an extremely short track. It would be a slaughter in a 1/4 mile. Highway pulls would be laughable.

Ya the fact your comparing a car to a truck 😂 its logical. Gtr is lighter a car first of all with best traction control system when it came out rated to do 2.9 sec to 60 lol. The trx being a truck obvious and the fact its heavy and also launches insane doing 4.5sec yet ive seen people getting them close to 3.5sec 😂. Trx is no joke but its a truck yall need to stop thinking the gtr murdered a trx its a truck. Crying out loud 😂. But gtr is king though being an old car and still holding down its crown of how hard it can launch i gotta give it credit these things are animals to have around. I would love to have a gtr some day. It sure can handle down many sports cars being a twin turbocharged v6. Or are they single unless someone correct me on that.

TRX beat a mustang in previous episodes

I'm not sure...the GTR has more power than the C8 corvette, but it's still not affordable (for most). Compare $100k+ to about $60k for the C8 corvette.

It takes that tesla over a mile above sea level for the gtr 2 b close 2 it so at sea level it would get beat worse so I think you would need the p100d or whatever the top model tesla is 2 outrun the gtr I think but then you still.cant turn and you spent 100k.

Then we could just add an alpha 10 package to the GTR and run low 9s at 150 plus in the 1/4.. It would make the TRX look like it was standing still. 😂

@@markball7028 That is true. What I didn't make clear was that I was suggesting that the hp to weight ratio be made similar. The TRX is about 3000 lbs heavier than the GTR. I was actually surprised that the TRX beat the Mustang and not surprised the GRT was the winner here. Putting the $42,000 base price difference into the TRX might make it a close race. As we know, speed cost money, how fast to you want to go. In the end I'm not buying either one, but it is fun to watch.

The GTR is directly from the factory. 🙄The engine is out together by hand, not by a machine. That's all he meant by that.

Fact is, they knew it would beat the TRX. And they were not ready to let their "King" of drag racers fall so quickly. It honestly is properly fast, but all this is staged to promote their love of the truck. There were other vehicles that they brought in that could have won under the right variables. And I am not talking about warming up the tires and putting on launch control. Which in this video, they did with the GTR. Something they said would not be "realistic conditions at a stop light in the real world" to justify why the GT500 lost. Nonetheless, they know the TRX can be beaten by a lot of vehicles, but what fun would that have been so early on?
