Does The Name 'Muhammad' Actually Appear In The Bible? 

The Qur'an is the final revelation sent by God to humankind...replacing the Taurat and the Injil, for those who believed. And Prophet Muhammad pbuh is the last and final Messenger of God. Peace be to all.

Wallahu'alam, Allah knows best. Personally it wouldn't be a mindblowing fact if Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is mentioned in other scriptures, as they are revelation to the Prophets, who by definition, prophesized the future through the permission of Allah ﷻ. We don't need any other scripture to validate our faith but because we so love our Rasullulah ﷺ, sometimes we project our expectation into a scripture that has been tampered and changed. This is one of the test and the wisdom of The Almighty, if Allah wills..other scriptures would be perfectly preserved and there would be no test for the ummah.

And who is layman Deedat to make such a statement? Deedat was no scholar in classic Hebrew. Moreover he was not even officially educated at all. Never did Deedat refer to a Hebrew dictionary or scholar to prove his point. The first mistake by Deedat is that he pronounced מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים as ‘muhamaddim’. But he is wrong, it is ‘ma-kha-madim’. So there is no pronunciation of Muhammad. Just check every high valuated Hebrew dictionary or lexicon. The other mistake made by Deedat is that he said that ‘מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים’ is a name. Again he is very wrong because מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is a masculine plural noun, so it is not a name. Again, just check every high valuated Hebrew dictionary or lexicon. And because it is not a name it is impossible that it refers to the name of ‘Muhammad’. Deedat only fooled his ignorant and gullible audience.

MHMD is a title, meaning the praised one. that does not call a Prophet by name. Even the Christian king who lived in persia in the 7th century was called MHMD. Mecca didnt exist in the days of their Prophet.

Yes their book is corrupted. But the aya says he is in the toura, so it is true. Their whole book is mostly corrupted. Don't accuse Ahmed didat of anything. If you listen to the quran then you can see that it was right. This is merely a sign from الله as many other signs of firعoons body and stories of the previous prophets and their scripture. I don't know who you are brother. But as you can see arabic aramaic are close together, so you can see, allah is sounded the same. So to عisa علي السلام he would have said to them Ahmed. Meaning after he become muhammed he would be muhammed, but before he wasnt born yet so he would be called ahmed according to the quran. But the quran refers to the prophet being meantioned so any way or shape that would indicate of a prophet it would be muhammed عليه السلام, that would come after him. In another place he is reffered to as the comforter. People thinking some ghost is coming but it was muhammed who would guide mankind with الله's help. If you learn arabic it is easier. Also study with people of knowledge in جامع would make things easier. But know that quran comes before anyone and anything. It is the words of الله سبحانه. الحمدلله
