Some guy who’s rlly looking forward to taking me on a date, he’s from Argentina and he came here yesterday. The person who ask him questions while going through customs to let them enter the US called him “Suspicious” “because of how we travels here so quickly” and was completely rude as well. even though Gabriel travels a lot for work, and then told him he can only stay here for a month and after that he would need to be married to a United States citizens to come back. But I did mention he could probably get dual citizenship to him, cause all he can do now is see I he can hopefully get more time to stay in the IS for. ☹️

"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen" Of course you have no idea about this, right ?

That’s merely a formality. In reality, nothing under U.S law prevents someone from having dual nationality. According to the Department of State, “U.S. law does not impede its citizens' acquisition of foreign citizenship whether by birth, descent, naturalization or other form of acquisition, by imposing requirements of permission from U.S. courts or any governmental agency. If a foreign country's law permits parents to apply for citizenship on behalf of minor children, nothing in U.S. law impedes U.S. citizen parents from doing so. U.S. law does not require a U.S. citizen to choose between U.S. citizenship and another (foreign) nationality (or nationalities). A U.S. citizen may naturalize in a foreign state without any risk to their U.S. citizenship. U.S. dual nationals owe allegiance to both the United States and the foreign country (or countries, if they are nationals of more than one). They are required to obey the laws of both countries, and either country has the right to enforce its laws.”

@@mryardiedescendant It's NOT a formality. There was a case with an israelian. He emigrated in U.S., got american citizenship, then got back in Israel and voted in Israeli elections !!! He was HEAVILY FINED after a trial in U.S.

You have no idea about how immigration is done. I mean the process. In my case, I am from Romania, first, changing of permanent residency. Got american permanent residency (yellowish green card after 2 weeks) at landing, in Newark airport, NJ. Permanent residency consist in 3 elements: main area of interest (work or business), domicile and taxation. These 3 elements went from Romania to U.S. I mean switched. It is NOT possible to be permanent resident of 2 countries in the same time. Or having any of the 3 elements in 2 countries in the same time. When I went to Romanian consulate in NYC to renew my passport, they required it to see if I have permanent resident visa ( a visa category which does not exist in U.S. law but it's made for workers of FOREIGN governments residing in U.S.). Of course I didn't have it, so they asked to see the green card, which I showed to them. So they asked for proof that I am not american citizen. When I got the renewed Romanian passport, they withdrew my romanian ID (which proves romanian residence) and on 3rd page in the passport they put a stickers saying:"ctitizen with domicile in U.S."; stamp:"Romanian government".

Not being anymore resident of Romania, means I lost the right to have Romanian drivers license, to vote in any voting section in Romania (but only in diplomatic missions of Romania), right to have any bank account in Romania. But got them in U.S. Also the right to setup utilities and of course having domicile anywhere in Romania. Also, of course, marry with a Romanian girl. Still can have properties in Romania, but without being able to live in any of them.

In order to vote in Romanian elections I would have had to show proof that I am not a citizen of another country: permanent resident visa in Romanian passport OR Green Card. When I became U.S. citizen, the Green Card was withdrawn ! So, by procedure, I was not able to vote in Romanian election even if I wanted to break oath of allegiance.

Dual citizenship should be banned. Pick your country and stick with it.
