I spent 7 years of my life eating gluten free because I was getting constipated all the time. I discovered later that I was never gluten intolerant, I was just very sensitive to food preservatives. Once I started eating bakery bread that doesn't use added preservatives I could eat bread again just fine. To this day I still get almost immediate acid reflux from processed food.
Many thanks for this video. I imagine the Zoe App team would love the NHS to adopt their expensive programme. However if individuals can improve the quality of their diets this will surely improve their microbiome and lead to better health outcomes without the intervention of the medical community.
Very interesting! For me personally it was my mental health that effected my weight the most because despite seemingly doing all the right things nothing changed until my mental health did as it was acting like a giant weight on me and once the weight was lifted the pounds flew off my body like no tomorrow, I couldn’t believe the difference it made.
I have so many obesogenic and lipid genetic mutations as well as an endocrine tumor. I'm impatiently waiting for medicine to catch up on this. It's very frustrating to be trapped in a society that doesn't understand anything beyond calories in calories out.
