Removing weight from rear half of the cars is the easiest, it's the front end that's difficult. I removed loads of plastic little bits & extra brackets in the engine bay that serve no purpose. Also deleted the headlight windshield washer system.
Yeah completely agree, it was just a test really. The cars a daily family car so it’s not a permanent thing. Also if I was gonna try any further a massive weight reduction would be the front electric seats too 👊🏾🤙🏾
@@thatdieselgangyou can save a LOT of weight from switching out the sport seats to 20 lb racing seats. But I have red interior to and those seats are soooo damn comfortable so I’m hesitant to do it 😂😂😂
CF hood of course would be the most popular. Then if you decide to go ac delete you could drop the compressor. I wish they made a titanium intercooler or something lol. The m cars w the intercooler on top helps w not having all that weight at the nose. Sunroof delete would probably be one of the best weight reductions since not only would drop about 40lbs but take it off the top of the car for a better center of gravity.
@@LucidLoki yeah man, oh can probably save a lot more by stripping out more and more small bits. The OEM seats weighed a lot more than the recaros so there’s a clear saving there. It just depends how far you want to go. For me it’s a daily so comfort is a must and these recaros are really comfortable 🤙🏾👊🏾
