Do you have a matchball that will not hold air? Watch this video and learn how to fix that! For the past year I had a problem. My Europass, (OMB) had a slow leak in the valve. I had avoided most ways to fix it because I was to worried to do anything to the ball because it is a expensive ball! Finally, I stumbled upon Edgar Escobars video on how to replace a soccer ball valve. After a year of the ball leaking I decided to try it out, and guess what? We did it in under a minute. I can assure to you that this technique works very well, and is very reliable.

I'd personally like to thank Edgar Escobar for teaching us this technique! It's saved us a very, very expensive Europass! Definitely a quick and easy tutorial to help save your favorite soccer, basketball or football.

Good idea with the screwdriver, you made reinsertion look easy compared to the plier/pump methods

OMG THANK YOU I just got a Wawa Aba yesterday and it doesn’t hold air from the valve this like just saved me a lot of money even though the seller said it holds air perfectly🙄 👍👍👍

One surefire way to make sure that it doesn't leak from tha panels as well, is while the original valve is still out, drop a tiny bit of bike tire liquid sealant into the soccer ball. So far I have saved a winter speedcell, and a red terrapass from the display shelf by this method. It really does work too! (:

We have applied this to save a number of match balls as well. I also use a method that allows you to add the sealant with the valve in.

I bought a mitre delta hyperseam ball and I tried to inflate it today using an air compressor and then something popped inside. So when you inflate the ball it quickly deflates through the valve hole. The outer material of the ball seems fine so not sure if the valve hole is broken or something inside the ball and if it can be fixed

It sounds to me like something inside the ball broke, not the valve. The only real fix to those kinds of problems is to use tire sealant, which can fill the holes so air wont leak. I just tried this on a Nike Incyte match ball and it didn't quite work. I was able to replace the valve but had to cut away quite a bit of the cover to do it. Maybe it was just that ball but it was not easy. The hole where the valve comes out is tiny. It wouldn't surprise me if Nike made changing the valves on their soccer balls less than user friendly

Yeah, all the nike balls I have had have the valve covered. Any ball where you can visibly see the valve will be much easier to work on. And I totally agree that they might cover the valve just to stop you from replacing it.

I also ruined two incyte balls trying to replace the valve. I sti have a maxim that leaks air, i want to do it the right way. But so far no one has showed me the way... Pretty sad

Submerge the ball in water a look for bubbles. Wherever the bubbles are coming from is where the leak is coming from. If the bubbles are coming from the valve, then you need to replace it

Hi, my valve broke into 2 parts during replacement and now it rattles inside the ball like crazy :/ Do you have an idea how to take this part out from the ball?

Well, you could try and turn the ball upside down on the valve and try and pry it out with a tool, but I am not totally sure how to fix that

I don't think so. The valves on Nike balls are under the material, so removing the valve isn't really possible.

depends on the valve , it has to be visible like the one in this video. if the valve is hidden , and tucked under the first layer of the balls outer skin , it's almost impossible to get out.@@luismiguellopez3529

on sort ball are very easy to replace the air valve like the adidas,, but the nike ordems ball are really hard and risky i ruined one brand new nike ordem ,, i recomend not to buy nike ordems ball 150$ ball doesnt last long like it supose to
