After having the supplies sitting around in our garage for what seems like an eternity, we finally finished our #DogGroomingTub install!
This is a fancy professional tub with a DIY version of a bathing system, like Bathing Beauty (www.petedge.co...)
Many thinks to Jennifer Sandvig and Sidney Sachs for the grooming set up ideas, this thing is already saving my back and helping keep the floors clean after our #MudlandMushing adventures!
You could certainly save a bit more money with a different tub and faucet, the ones I got are professional to hold up to malamute shenanigans.

Tub Nozzle: www.homedepot.... the "flat" setting works great for melting mud off legs and butt fluffies!
Walls: Plas-tex NRP: parklandplasti... I purchased at Home Depot and installed with Liquid Nails for FRP adhesive. Ignore the instructions and apply with a trowel to the wall, then hang the NRP. MUCH easier, and the bond is still good. Moldings were FRP moldings at Home Depot, all edges sealed with kitchen and bath silicone.

One would think I shouldn't need all this for simple bathing of short hair coat Labs. Well I think I do need it. My setup is getting there. Bathing dogs in a typical bathroom is not ergonomic or efficient.

I love this. I have 5 Standard Poodles and this is exactly what I need. This may be a silly question... but what is the blue thing on the dog tub wall? And, if you don't mind my asking, what size and brand is your tub?

Where did you get the flow valve from and what size is it? I'm looking to do something similar for bathing our standard poodle. Thanks for the inspiration!

@@CorvusMalamutes that's basically what I ended up doing. The tub I got came with a platform with perforations for water to drain through, so thankfully the sump sits under that and is out of the way.
