This how I met my best friend. He was the puppy of a fishing buddy turned very dear friend. Sully (the pup) chose me as his best friend. We became inseparable! My wife and I kept him several times a month, took him on trips, took him to vet visits. We lost him to cancer in 2020. Not a single day goes by that I don't think of him.

@@TheToanstar and i disagree with your disagreement. Its probably cause you did something to your dog. Same thing with my cat. I accidentally hurt him once(hes a black cat sleeping near the fridge so when its all dark, i didnt see the guy and accidentally kicked him), so now hes scared of me and runs away when i get close. So for your family dog, its either you or your family(or both) that made the animal aggressive. All comes down to you guys. Animals hold zero grudges.

A similar thing happened to me when I was living in a homeless shelter for youth, I would walk to the park and this little chihuahua name Missy for wait at her fence for me everyday, I would pet and talk to her. We became close, I even became friends with her owner Kat. The day I moved from the shelter was a sad day, I miss Missy a lot.

Aww... love this so much! It's so cute that Coby liked his neighbor so much without even knowing him and the fact that the neighbor engaged and even got things for Coby and wasn't just stuck up and rude about it.
