Thank you for all your information my 10 year old terrier-mix just got diagnosed with lymphoma. What is your opinion on cbd and Rick Simpson oil for treatment?
I am very scared here. My Fiona (5 year old boxer) was diagnosed with lymphoma on Nov. 23. T-Cell high grade. We started chemo the next week. She is on a MOPP protocol. She got a LOT of GI issues after second dose, but recovered after a few days with supportive care. The dosage was adjusted and she did fine after her third treatment. In fact, she went into remission after that. We went to injections every 2 weeks and started a pulse of oral prednisone and procarbazine. 10 days after her last vincristine mustard injection and 3 days after we stopped the procarbazine and prednisone, she became very picky with eating. I usually found something she would eat. 3 days ago, it got worse. We had our scheduled oncologist appointment that night. He decided to hold off on her chemo and we did blood work to check her lipase and amalayse levels. Well, the dr. called and they were okay, so he didn't think it was pancreatitis. Said her bullirubin was elevated, but that her red cell level wasn't. He didn't think that it was cancer in the liver and couldn't see why she wouldn't eat. The not eating has gotten SO BAAAAD. We have her on Cerenia, metronidazole (diarreah only just started days after the eating trouble did) and we giver her suculfitrate before we try to feed her. Meanwhile, she is not lethargic (maybe one day but then she was fine) bouncing around like her old self, no vomit...SHE JUST WILL NOT EAT. Going to oncology in two days. Doing an ultrasound and he says her chemo. I am so scared. Her nodes are still undetectable. I am scared here.
What type of lymphoma are u talking about??? My dog has gastrointestinal lymphoma and I was told today if a dog was ti get cancer this is the best one to get. Then I get on the internet and it doesn’t sound as treatable as they made it sound today. I was told by the vet my dog can live a normal life but it can’t be cured it just can be treated for years is this bs what she said
