💡 Ever since Elon Musk tweeted about Dogecoin in 2020, Dogecoin has skyrocketed "to the moon". While this video is not about Dogecoin price prediction, we can examine the role of herd mentality in behavioral economics and why it's affecting the cryptocurrency markets the way it is right now. Unlike Bitcoin, Dogecoin's utility in the real world is limited, but people are buying it like the next gold mine. Because of one Elon Musk's tweet, one message, the cryto market becomes volatile and money flushing in and out. Will Dogecoin reach $1 ever or is it a good investment? We don't know, but we'll have to see if this is another bubble.
