This is spiritual studies session 60.
This session took a long time to compile. Thankfully, there is plenty of information on the Dogon provided by earnest researchers and first hand accounts, but stitching together the disparate parts into a cohesive manner that honors a deep dive can be quite the challenge. The commonalities between religious ideas held by groups across the globe in antiquity almost proves that there is a common predecessor to the various cultures and beliefs of known history. I love how peeking into these ancient beliefs only shows just how connected we all are, despite our criticisms of variances. It would almost seem urgent to preserve this culture's esoteric language and understanding, if it wasnt apparent they were mentioning something being discussed by the rest of the world's ancient "storytellers". Or historians, to some 😉

I like how you specify that you are an outsider and you are only telling the little that is known about this tribe and their spiritual tradition. A lot of times when you hear people of other races and cultures talk about indigenous spiritual traditions sometimes that talk with this arrogance and ABSOLUTENESS like they COMPLETELY know what they’re talking about and you BETTER NOT question them! My grandfather on my dad side…. His Lineage is from Mali/the Dogon community and my grandmother on my dad side…. Lineage comes from Nigeria and Sudan and is part of the Yoruba and some Islamic. I love learning more about my people. They have told me a lot of different stories from back then, even the dances. I love to learn from all different perspectives. Another guy from another Chanel actually went over to the Dogon community and did an interview.

When the Dogon people retreat to the caves, we should take that as a sign to do the same. Their headdress include the “Squatter Man”, which represents Z-pinch plasma that ancient people saw in the atmosphere prior to the last global cataclysm. They are watching the sky and keeping galactic time

The plasma stuff is just a cool coincidence and has very little to do with the mythology of the squatter man. Serendipity is something that happens when you try to compare symbols with other things around the world.

The Lakota have a similar story “the seven sisters and the star boy” look for it. I believe the star boy makes reference to Sirius. But I’m not sure. :3

I noticed a strange phenomenon that is not discussed anywhere that I know of. Any image that is mirrored shares a universal axis. Despite what is mirrored in the center is a triangle at bottom, a cross with a circle on each side , and a m on top of the t shape. This can be easily checked for authenticity . It would seem that the axis I mention here manifests itself in one form or another throughout all the worlds religious iconography! This must be an important connection and I wish more people would study the subject! Thanks for your great work. You are thoughtful and thorough! This is some of the best research on RU-vid!

It's mind-boggling to look up and marvel at how vast the unknown is, so we busy ourselves instead with what's known, what we've created. But that's where it gets interesting; What do you think the vastness see's in us and all it encapsulates? Does it concern itself as we do? Was that why religions and beliefs came to existence? Because our limited perspective could only assume it so, and why the stories written are limited to the sciences of that day? I wonder what the Dogons saw.

The “Twins” are the two main arms of our galaxy. “Using infrared images from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope, scientists have discovered that the Milky Way's elegant spiral structure is dominated by just two arms wrapping off the ends of a central bar of stars. Previously, our galaxy was thought to possess four major arms.” These two maybe the duality or the benevolent and malevolent creation brothers.

Very good point. Perhaps Egypt delineated from the Dogon, not the other way around. I could be wrong , but they may be the thesis of Robert Bauval's 'Black Genesis'.

I suspect it is neither. They did not come from each other. I believe that there was a large North African Black population that existed in North Africa before the Sahara started it's green period. This is before the Berbers came into Africa. Here they began rudimentary agricultural practices. Which started with 4 pairs of seeds forming part of a new belief system associated with agriculture and built upon the existing cosmology. When the green Sahara started to dry up, this where this large group split up. and the 4 pairs of seeds became the Ogdaod and Ennead (minus Atum) in Egyptian mythology, the 8 Nommo in Dogon mythology, the 8 Pangool in sere mythology, the 8 seeds in Mande mythology and the 8 divination seeds in Orunmilla's divination Chain in Yoruba mythology.

Grateful you're here. Forgive me, I'm gonna rant here, partially for my own catharsis. I made several attempts at making this talk that I felt were unsuccessful. This tradition is particularly challenging to study and compile, though, it certainly would've been out sooner if I wasnt holding myself to a loftier standard. For instance, I didn't think I'd have to start digging back into Sumeria in order to better study the Dogon. It seems as the course carries on, each topic connects and calls on other traditions more and more, accordingly, the research tends to require being more and more thorough. Being that I felt I spoke too soon on subjects earlier in the course, rushed the output a bit too much, I've naturally sought to rather wait than rush the content.

Thank you! Amazing dive and I want to learn more. It’s so sad and actually, we’ve handicapped ourselves by not giving Africa enough credit for being the original. I get that the Nommo are indicative of creatures that prob appear magically with the rains but how did they know Sirius B was a heavy star 😢I believe Nommo became Oannes and Oannes became Leviathan, and when the First Temple came down, the “Levite” priests got more authority. I believe they were still worshipping Leviathan at that point. Also: isn’t there a sect of the Dogon tribe called Onan? I believe this is Oannes, and we all know what happens to Onan in the Bible but he was actually spreading knowledge, not his seed on the ground 😢

Also! I’ve heard stories about the Phoenicians dropping lodestone (magnetite) engraved, calling on Oannes ?? The magnetite is described as being like lead and I feel that has a connection to the heavy star Sirius B but that’s my total speculation.

So..... If you have an open mind and want to read something that I just started reading that is connecting a lot of dots on how we may have been seeded on this planet I have a very interesting source to check out. The man who penned the book was my husband's teacher who was a real deal mystic. He founded the monastery in Kauai. In the 1970s he channel information over the course of a few years. When I think of many of the things that are a mystery to us today, if we take his channeling into account it links a lot. Now clearly this is channeled information but if you are curious I bet you would get something out of it.

In your sessions youv been mentioning ether alot. Is ether the same thing as zen, chi, prana, orgon energy, zeropointenergy and so on? You have also been mentioning nicolas tesla a few times, do you have any information about willhelm reich and hes work, with orgon energy?. As fare as i know he got into jail were he died, and most of hes work have been destroyed. Now hes known as a mad sex experimentalist of some sort. :D I made a comment about ectoplasma and more mordern mystic topics. When is that comming? I think willhelm reich and tesla would be relevant personallities to bring in also? maybe. :)

Testing the Men's Y-DNA would be the easiest way to determine where they came from...you would know very quickly if they were from Egypt or Sub Suharan Africa the Male Y DNA is passed unbroken from father to son and it's mutations occur over several years perfectly mapping out migrations...Egyptians Men belong to E1b1b and Bantu Sub Saharans E1b1a.

Sirius are the closest star,except for the Sun of course,to the earth and as the Sun has planets in its orbit,i guess Sirius has the same.In my head the nommo came from a moon imploding,a red dwarf, in orbit around planet a,or sirius b,a lame translation,its cringe as science meet a civilisation thats older,higher and with deeper cultural lore,they tend to forget the darn obvious. The anglo language the mayflowers? named the tribe Dogon,cause its nogod backwards cause the wanted to smear them as a godless,heathens,pagans etc Dont sigh comrade.
