I brought Addison home from the shelter today 💜 She explored the house & the yard, she was obsessed with our bird, Lee, & she played with Lexie and Callie a little bit!.
I loved the encouragement to get into the car he got, instead of just picking him up. And his new Daddy reaching back to scratch and love him. Sooooo sweet.
I wish every homeless dog would get a special and loving family like Addison 💞 You guys are truly wonderful people for adopting Addison...and showing all of them so much love!!
MINE , TOO.......six "roadies" live with me...[picked up off country roads in rural E.Tx].......bad situation for them in the heat...coyotes, hogs, snakes, mountain lions in some areas.....RESCUES are so grateful.......
You have to wonder what these rescue puppers must be thinking when they leave the shelter and end up in a home where people feed, love, protect and care for them unconditionally. ♥️

Sitting here crying like a baby. So beautiful. She was so busy being concerned and afraid that she couldn’t just be a dog. Bless you for letting her be a dog and finding love and joy.
I adopted a rescued dog a year ago,easily one of the best things I've ever done! He became family the moment he walked in our house,absolutely no regrets.
@@annamack5823I agree,I'm not into caged animals ,more so birds as they need to fly,perhaps they rescued the bird,and probably let it out to fly around in the lounge,dunno
Ours tried to jump out the window when we were driving him home. Had to grab him by the tail to pull him back into the car. Then he vomited everywhere. Such a good boy, heh.
If I came from a shelter than cleaned me, provided medical and fed me I would definitely not be happy to leave. But love is supreme and so rewarding. That - and a ball! Thank you.

@Syd Barger I didn’t know that was going on. That really breaks my heart. They need to screen people better and make sure they’re going to be taken care of. I knew that a lot of people fostered animals during covid and that’s great but not if you’re gonna give them to just anyone 🙁😢🤧
Nothing better in life than a rescue animal............no more shelters, irresponsible pet owners, the snuggling all night until the next morning and 100% unconditional love. Awesome!
I haven't had a dog since I was seven & at the time I loved her with all my heart (still do). Now being 42 I still want (hope) for a dog puppy, senior or shelter...

Very sweet. We need to empty the shelters and for petes sake ban the kill shelters (unless medical, etc). This doggie was so fortunate to find this loving home!

Sorry, but you don't get to say 'ask God' without first demonstrating it exists, you might just as well say, ask Santa, ask the pixies, ask the flying spaghetti monster. Anyway, which god are you talking about? There are literally dozens to choose from. Finally, it is a bit annoying for you to say "your life will open up and you will feel alive for the first time". My life is fine and dandy, thank you very much; how dare you assume that it isn't. And I am very much alive, obviously.
