Oh, man. I don't know! A transparent puzzle? I - like you - get very frustrated when I'm only putting in 1 piece every 5 minutes. Splitting pieces up by shape and just methodically going through each one is not my cup of tea. I prefer bright colors and cool details. But I might have to try one just for the challenge.
Dunno if Tenyo’s “stained glass” puzzles could be considered transparent, but they were great fun. Hadda use their lost/missing piece service once and it was amazing! I like the thickness of the Impossible Puzzles; colour, versatility, and discount code (thank you!) of the Wave puzzle, and surprise of the Keyway. Uh oh. . . am I gonna have to buy ALL of them?!?!?
You should see this one japanese dude that makles puzzles with weird pieces and NONE of them go in any way you would normally do a puzzle. Brainbreakers.
I have never done a puzzle in my life. I have aphantasia which means I lack the ability to picture things in my head - when I close my eyes it’s just darkness. I’ve never found the appeal of them because of how frustrating they are for me, but watching this woman find so much joy in such a little pleasure is so fun. I must have watched 20 videos by now. I can’t stop
Are there people who see something other than darkness when they close their eyes? I can think about what things looks like, but I can't "see" them when I close my eyes. Is that a thing?
I've never done a transparent puzzle! But when my sister was little and would get bored with her Barbie/Hello Kitty puzzles, we would flip them over and do them upside down with the back facing up, solving by piece shape alone. And sometimes she would color the back with crayons and make her own puzzle image!
I have done a clear puzzle during the pandemic. I borrowed it from a friend and washed the pieces with soapy water and let them air dry to get rid of my fingerprints before I gave it back to her.
I honestly thought that a clear puzzle wouldn't be too bad until you pointed out that there was no way of telling which surface was the "top" of the piece. Then, I mentally noped out of ever buying one of these things. I'll watch you do one, though! :-)
She did another puzzle where they printed the same image on both sides and cut it so that both sides had rounded and flat edges so that you could not tell wahts way was up as well.
I would glue them together with the most transparent glue you could find, and mount them in a 4 picture frame for the wall with that dark blue background...those would make beautiful wall art!!
I don't puzzle, I just love watching you doing puzzles and hear your passion for them. I clicked this so fast I wanted to see someone do a clear puzzle!
How very sonsiderate of you to warn people of spoilers. I persoanlly already cannot remeber the shape of any of these transparent puzzles, and I just finished watching the video. I could poroably watch it right before doing the puzzle and still not remeber how it looked :) But I really aprechiate the effort you put in every video and your enthusiasm makes me happy (:
Okay but is no one gonna talk about how underrated she is? Like she seems so sweet, she needs more people watching her videos cause she in so entertaining. Stumbled upon your channel randomly and ive been binging your videos here and there since.
Nice. And when you've finished you can put it on top of any picture you want and pretend that was a jigsaw all along! I have not done any clear puzzles, but I have got into a couple in quarantine, including one of the Ravensburger Escape ones.
You got me onto the gradient puzzles, did my first one the other day and my yellow/green colour vision is definitely my weakest lol, that corner took me way longer than all the others. Great video, they're so pretty to look at! Thanks!
These are funtastic! I haven't seen these before and now I have to add these to my Wishlist. I've saved your video for later because I don't want spoilers, even though you've kindly put spoiler timestamps on for everyone. Thanks for bringing these to our attention, Karen. I love the way you time yourself . Keep Calm and Puzzle On x
I gave the Impossible Puzzle to my step daughter for Christmas. She is a puzzle Wizard. She is always putting puzzles to get her. Well! She sent the puzzle back to me because she could not do it. Smiles.
I watched all the spoilers because I don't think I will do any of these puzzles myself. But it was fun to watch you do them. Your puzzling joy was transparent.
Karen, Your perseverance in overcoming adversity is inspirational. The challenges presented by these transparent puzzles to your creativity and sanity would overwhelm most puzzlers. But you keep at it and know when to take a break to get perspective. These skills must serve you very well even when you're not puzzling. I enjoyed watching you do clear puzzles, but I don't think they're for me. I enjoy seeing puzzle images come together as I complete a puzzle, even if the image is of gradient colors. Plus the frustration level seems to be more than would be enjoyable for me. Thanks for all of your hard work and instruction!
Hello, I am watching your videos from France, I have just bought a clear puzzle for my grand daughter's birthday. Thank you for giving me this idea. I like your permanent smile.
Wow, you really CLEARED these puzzles in an impressive time. Its TRANSPARENT how good talented you are at these. I'd love to try these out but everyone would SEE THROUGH my meager puzzling abilities
Your motive is very transparent. I really enjoyed watching you tackle these puzzles and overcoming the twists. A couple would have completely broken me. I've never done a transparent puzzle, much less several in one day. Impressive!
Karen, I have learned so much from you in two months. I can do more challenging puzzles now. But clear! No ....I would be in tears in minutes. I love your enthusiasm.
These clear puzzles are very beautiful. I find them quite original. It definitely seems super satisfying to put them together. Also, * a little spoiler * corner/edge pieces being in the middle of these puzzles just blew my mind! How did I never thought of that when making puzzles myself?
I don’t think I would ever do such a thing...clear puzzles and gradient puzzle are a hard no! I like the pictures..for me there is something satisfying about completing a picture via puzzle.
i so enjoy your enthusiasm for the zigzag puzzle hobby. I also appreciate that you are totally transparent when reviewing new products by telling us if you purchased them on your own or if a company sent them to you for free. This way your followers can absolutely trust your feedback and product review. Thank you for a really fun video!!
I remember watching your videos ages ago in highschool during my own nerdy/harry potter phase. Watched you grow into crafting/DIY and its awesome to see you grow in your own interests and hobbies.
I was going to make a suggestion of a stained glass effect but then seconds later I realised that wouldn't make it a clear puzzle lol. Still a possibility.
Ohhhh but that would be a really pretty puzzle! Something with a stained glass design on transparent acrylic pieces... wouldn't be a clear puzzle, but you could still make something really pretty!
I cant even thank you enough for your content! I love your puzzle problems and solutions! I do not think I will be attempting a transparent puzzle, but I am loving the clicky satisfaction of the completed thing! Thanks again!
Absolutely love the colour of your nail polish ... Just found your RU-vid channel a few weeks ago and have been binge watching your videos. I'm thoroughly enjoying the content.
Hey Karen! Thanks so much for the yelldesign shout out - once we get on top of our current round of production we'll send you a sample to have a play with. Keep up the awesome videos 👌🏼
I love these transparent puzzles! Before this quarantine, I never did a puzzle or knew this channel. I did one 1000 piece puzzle at the beginning of quarantine and my great aunt (a puzzler) sent me the video when Karen got out her 9000 piece puzzle again. Since then, I have watched pretty much every one of Karen’s videos..sometimes multiple times...and have been buying puzzles (including the cloudberries gradient...which is easily my fav to do so far) and completing puzzles that my extended family members drop off. I’ve done 15 so far, and I have so many more than my aunts and grandparents can lend me! I can’t wait to do more gradient puzzles and maybe my first massive puzzle one day! Thanks for your light and energy, and for the discovery of this new hobby that I love both as quality family time and/or quality alone time.
i recently put a puzzle together with my bf not long ago, but ordered a puzzle off of amazon, cant wait to put it together. i just started watching your puzzles starting with the gradient puzzles, the huge one. ive been enjoying it. keep up the good work with your videos. puzzles are so fun.
Transparent! I was amused at the spoiler alerts because there is no way that my brain is going to hold those patterns in my head. But I am intrigued enough to try maybe the easiest or second easiest. Thanks for the video. It was fun. Your videos really helped motivate me to try doing jigsaw puzzles. Three done and a whole bunch more to try! I think this hobby is going to stick with me.
Transparent!! I did the 25 piece Puzzle Impossible. Now I’m working on a 150 piece by Puzzibility. I got the boarder done, but I haven’t been able to fill in anything 😂
UK Calling , Again well done Karen ; the thicker ones looked so tactile and amazing when finished : we understood your exasperation when the pieces didn’t play ball .. But next please you must attempt : The BAFFLER puzzles , they look intriguing and something-of a challenge with strange shapes , colours and a weird looking end result xx
Are you talking about Chris Yates Bafflers? They are soooo cool. I know he did a deal with Ceaco to make some from cardboard, but his hand painted wood ones are gorgeous!
Thank you for this fun video! I have ordered one from another company on Etsy for my partner's upcoming birthday, I hope he will enjoy it :) And then I can borrow it from him, I am really looking forward to make a transparent puzzle.
Transparent! Wow, they seem like quite the challenge. I have never done one, but I wouldn't mind receiving one as a secret Santa gift or something like that. Not sure I want to actually buy one yet.. Great video, regards from Romania!
Transparent: Mintyfizz here. I have done a couple clear puzzles including the Waves puzzle. Do you think you’ll try the expansion packs? I wonder what that experience would be like.
I'm not sure, since I tend to prefer puzzles with unique connectors, rather than brainteasers like this that can be assembled different ways. But I love that they're expanding it for people who do love it!
Those are some transparent puzzles! I am going to age myself here, but I remember getting a clear 16 pc puzzle as a child on a flight overseas. No tricks though since it was intended for child passengers. The finished puzzle fit inside a square they provided with the airline logo on it (British Airways I think). But I remember finishing it before take-off and being so disappointed it was so easy. None since then, but I may order one after I have tackled some of my current stash.
Karen, you are the most simpatico (friendly) person I ever have known. Your enthusiasm is captivating and charming. Everyone that watch your channel will puzzle. I myself do not puzzle but I buy all puzzle that you present. You are "the charming person". Clever, intelligent and beautiful. God bless you my dear.
