You can helicoil spark plug threads. My mechanical timing belt tensioner has a timesert installed cuz I pulled the threads out. At my job (aviation) all parts in aluminum are pre-Helicoiled. Looks like fun. Bye
Thanks for the tip Julius. I told the guy to contact the machine shop and have his vehicle towed over there so hopefully he did something more affordable than replace the cylinder head. Have a good week.
