Hi Robert Should the front discs be bigger than the rear discs? The previous owner changed the discs but the rear look bigger. the 850 has smaller pads at the back
I can't find one of the vacuum lines so I've been trying to find a video that shows it (my purge valve was completely broken), with the plastic broken off inside the hose.
Antilock brake system prevents the wheels from locking up and skidding. There is a motor that pushes back on the brake pedal to regulate the breaking force.

Some who deserved the help and maybe others who didn't. You still have to eat, pay your bills and maybe even enjoy life once in a while. Keep doing what you're doing.
This was so thorough and informative. So much so that I think I've talked myself out of it, lol. I'm either going to rent their van or purge and take only what I can fit in my car. I'm traveling less than 500 miles but I've gotta go through curvy mountain roads, construction, and such and I'm just not that comfortable. Thanks for the information!
Hi robert! I have a a 2000 v70 xc that has a bad cat. Because its a p80 AWD car the only compatible parts are from the s70 AWD, v70 r, and v70 xc from 1998-2000 a new cat is around $400. Since part yard don't sell cats, do you have an idea where I could find a cheaper alternative? Thanks!
I would have suggested those picky owners go to the closest Volvo dealer, who would overcharge them. Next time they need help, they can review some of your videos and do the job themselves! :>)

Hi Robert ..firstly Thankyou for all the help the last 7 seven years After changing both Lambda sensors (98 V70 SE 20v ), warning light has come on again ,do i change camshaft position sensor or crankshaft sensor?
a properly sized air conn unit for a specific sq ft room/house with its specific heat load from outside thru the day will result in a unit that runs for a longer period of time, and with that longer period of time to reach temp it will pull humidity out of the room/house. a unit that is too large will short cycle, (pull the air temp cold so fast it doesn't run long enough to pull the humidity out of the air). in short, the ac unit is improperly sized so that the customer is happier with immediate gratification of a cold room, and the hotel can leave the ac off when no one is renting the room knowing it can be pulled down to temp very fast.
I also have these special lights on my volvo s70, however some of the lights do not work. Do any of you know what type of units/bulp it takes to fix it?

Hi, Robert! Do you recommend changing transmission fluid on autoboxes for the 850 turbo with the drain and fill method? My car has done 450xxx km. Not sure if the fluid has been changed before. I’ve heard people having problems after changing the fluid, but I’m now at a point where im afraid Im going to have problems if I dont. Sometimes trouble finding gear, beating in gearbox between 1st and 2nd.
Would a stainless steel brake line upgrade be a good thing to do at this time? Do they replace to stock brake lines that you had to be so careful with? Thanks so much Robert, your videos are invaluable!
Don't take parts from an intact clip. They want to sell the whole thing, not with the lights and fittings missing. I needed a part and took it from a smashed-in panel, leaving another good panel alone. I told the counterman about it and he said: "At last, an intelligent customer !"
