it throws me off how my pc can run great games like spiderman thats on ps5 now at 60 fps minimum, best settings.... but cant run a ps3 game the same/better?
Emulating a console typically means your pc has to be like three times stronger than that console if I'm remembering it right. Plus a lot of games don't run well on rpcs3 regardless
I'm having this problem while playing GOW 2, the game runs perfectly at 4K 60fps, but when I enter a cutscene it starts to lag and stutter, I noticed my CPU gets 100% of usage and 15% of GPU only in cutscenes, which are pre-rendered videos. is this right? Am I doing something wrong?

I downloaded the MGS HD Collection from Vimm's Lair to use with RPCS3, But it turned out to be the 1.0 version, and in the RPCS3 menu it has a prompt at the side of the game that reads (Update Avaiable 01.03). Not all games have patches, after you have downloaded the patches you will see whether if your game supports patches or not, if the game doesn't have any patches, no patches will show in the list About Updating, you can watch my video about updating the games
Hey can you help me? I have downloaded rpcs3 and the first game im tryng is the last of us. Version 1.1.1 something, the latest. I have installed the firmware, everything ok. I launched the game and there was some crackling sound and game was uploading but i needed to apply some settings to make it faster. So i added some configurations and now i open the game and the framerate is perfect but...NO AUDIO! If i go in the games settings and to audio, I cant move the volume levels, they're all at minimum (voice, fx, music) I'm tryng some methods, you know the real problem? Should i reinstall both rpcs3 and the game just to see? I don't really know and online there isn't much about it. Let me know as soon as you can would be dope (Btw audio shown in configuration is "Cubeb")
It's Because of the emulator, Especially RPCS3, the most complex thing about this emulator is running the instructions of SPU ( the ps3 CPU) on a PC CPU, this is normal for most emulators and you can do nothing about it other than buying a better CPU
I'm having trouble with the emulator whenever I load up the game called Fight Night Round 4 the beginning it just gets slow at the start menu it doesn't get slow but at the ring light Scene It just gets slow is there any way I'm doing wrong
Im trying to play mafia 2 but its not on the wiki and I'm only getting 17 frames then dropping to 2 frames even though I got a good pc (I'm playing on lowest graphics also)
