Yes and also that she has her mother and can hold her head high and her dad was not in her life and because of that it was hard to hold her head high. HEADHIGH very much reminds me of some mid-late 90's alternative/indie/electronic artists. Moloko, Esthero, Dido, and the like. It also reminds me of some early 00's downtempo electronic artists, which makes sense because Doja loves that kind of music. She used to take the beats from those artists, and rap over them on soundcloud. You have a good ear. There are a few Doja songs that get me in my feels. Go Off, Been Like This, HEADHIGH, and there might be a couple more.

Headhigh makes me so emotional it just reminds me of how it was hard to work a 9-5 my whole life and feeling stuck into the label of being a service worker fortunately I was able to book performances in pubs and bars to Rap i'm not famous but I really look up to Doja and headhigh just makes me feel like its possible

Scarlet has to be my favorite album of hers. I love the storytelling and vulnerability that's involved with it. HEADHIGH is one of my favorite tracks off the deluxe, and it sounds like a calming song that would be played during a late-night drive.. But now you've honestly got me thinking more deeply about the lyrics, so thank you. I'll have to give it another listen!
