I can empathize so much. My sweet Charlie boy cat had bladder stone issues and people told me to put him down. I answered"well the next time you have a UTI I'll be first in line to euthanize you." He ended up costing me over $10,000 over the years. But I wouldnt change a thing, he was my love and support cat that brought me more joy than that $10,000 ever could have. You love on Doja and enjoy her love.
My diabetic cat needed pumpkin to help regulate his poops with wet food. You get the canned pure pumpkin make sure it’s not the pumpkin pie filling with the spices just the pure pumpkin as the ingredient on the back and mix it in their food it can add fiber to help regulate! Thinking of you all 💞
Pumpkin!! I just buy one every now and again. Boil it up like I’m making soup (water and pumpkin only) give it a whizz in the blender and put it in containers in the freezer. You could do ice cube tray also. Defrost and serve with dinner.
I order pumpkin off Amazon that is for cats and dogs for my cat she sometimes doesn't poop good and give her some 2 times a day I was getting baby food pumpkin but I can't find it in the stores but it's just pumpkin and water but what I get off Amazon is helping her
Hair ball oil "stuff" helped my ancient cat Smudge after she was blocked end to end, after a vet visit and stay. Also more brushing was for my old gal as they wanted her to swallow less hair. Good luck Doga!
One of my cats gets constipated frequently. The first time she spent the night at the vet and got an enema, etc. Vet said he never seen a cat that constipated. She's not much of a eater (eats small portions) and doesn't drink tons of water. So I try give her liquid cat food along with canned. Vet told me to mix Miralax in w/her food.
$1200! I thought it would be like $5000. I took my dog to the vet the other day for vaccines, bloodwork and medication for an ear infection and it was $700 😮
Look up massage techniques for constipation. You can help by daily massages to help keep things moving. You can add olive oil to her food also helps with moving things along. My cat is 10 & been raw fed since 5 wks. Raw fed also helps keep them hydrate & because it uses most of the nutrients it has small output of poop. Kibbles etc have a lot of fillers that have animals producing larger volume of poop.
Just to make you feel better, wet food would actually have done the opposite of constipating her, so don’t feel guilty about changing her food! And two, if needed, they do make medication’s that help the colon to contract and stimulate to move
My cat was very sick a year and half ago and it took me taking her to the vet everyday for over a week to find out what was wrong they kept telling me she had diabetes and she didn't she had a uti and was backed up the vet I kept taking her to wasn't helping her she was getting worse they was getting her shots for diabetes so I took her to a new vet she wasn't eating and they checked her for diabetes 6 times in a year and half she never had diabetes that old vet made me mad to they told me if I can't take care of her to give her away cuz I was so scared I thought I had to give her shots everyday I've never gave anyone shots lucky is 10 now I've had her since the night she was born but I give her pumpkin that I ordered off Amazon it's for cats and dogs she wasn't pooping good and the vet told me to give her pumpkin
