Should you take someone's knock-knock joke as serious as a heart attack because they lost a loved one recently? Should you laugh in their face after a failed suicide attempt? Sure this series has a tendency to shift tones with the speed and subtlety of a head-on collision. But I don't believe that justifies dismissing every point the writers have made throughout the years simply because some other developers at some point in time decided to have a little fun with the project they've been slaving over for the past few years.
