The thing about the bars that is nice is that you can add more bars or decrease the amount of bars to your particular taste. The bars are a guide for brewing but you can adjust to add more or less water as you choose. I love that feature and use it often. The selection of coffees and some tea is also a great feature and you can brew just hot water if you need to which is great also. Just make sure the cup is closer to the pod holder since there is not one in it so the water comes out not so straight but it does work. I originally purchased the Dolce Gusto Genio as a second machine for when just one cup was needed or mornings when a cup on the go was needed but it turned quickly into being used regularly and the regular coffee pot is used seldom now.

In looking at this machine to see about purchasing it in lieu of the Genio which I have and love, but the Circolo is on sale right now, I was curious about the water tank. Some reviews people griped about having to remove it and stating it was too hard etc. What is hard for one is not for another so I wanted to see how it was removed. Thanks for showing this on your product review. You show great detail in the operation of this machine and that is appreciated.

Enjoyed the video. Very helpful. A couple questions: unclear as to when and how to use the drip tray collector/ tray. 2 - the pod will tell me how much water to add, correct? What if I want to vary the water for less or more water. Will it still use the total amount of coffee in the pod for stronger coffee? thanks

My cold brew need bar 6 of the water level but i’m stucked at bar 1 and not able to change.. anyone experienced the same? In the end i had to press 6 times while it stucked at bar 1 :(

Does it use regular pods? Like those I can use in the other Dolce Gusto Machines, or there are specific one for this machine? I was in unsure about this machine and a Nespresso latissima, but I'm not a big fan of coffee it self, but drinks with it, so the Dolce Gusto was the better option, but I heard a lot of complains about the durability of it.

I got excited of this product but in half of the video -> Pods not recyclable and only works with Dolce's own pods. With these reasons im not gonna waste my money on it. Good review though. How come companys in this day can't think recycling! Do they even make universal coffee pod machine with recyclable pods?
