I did a dollar store makeover, basically just tried painting on things from the dollar store. I made some pretty EVIL characters using dollar store items, just some cheap diys that ended up looking pretty chaotic. It’s hard figuring out what to do with things you can find at the dollar store, it wasn’t easy coming up with customizing ideas- it was kinda like a no budget dollar store challenge. I hope you guys like my dollar tree haul and my attempt at customizing things.

Red plungers aren't for the toilet. They're for the sink. Black ones are for your toilet bc they create the correct suction. Now that's something you know lol

Specifically it's the shape not the color since you can get plungers in any color. But this shape is a sink plunger. Toilet plungers have the inverted thing on the bottom to fit down in the hole. Sink plungers do not work very well on toilets.

I’m from Sweden, and one thing we have here on Christmas that other countries don’t (I think) is a Disney Christmas special that airs on TV at 5pm every year called “Kalle anka och hans vänner firar Jul” which translates to “Donald duck and his friends celebrate Christmas” in English. It’s one of my favourite parts of a Swedish Christmas tradition. It’s the same clips every year for example the “Bare necessities” song from The jungle book, and the spaghetti and meatballs scene from Lady and the Tramp, and of course Donald Duck.

I remember watching Disney clips Christmas specials like that every year while I was growing up (in Canada.) I don't have a TV anymore, so I'm not sure if it's still a thing.

Nice! The sign and mini stockings are my favorite! You can Modge-podge (probably spelled that wrong) the stickers on your candle to seal them:)

Probably been mentioned already, but just in case - be careful with lighting paragon candles, especially those with scents/essential oils of dubious quality around cats. They’re very sensitive to essential oils, and paraffin candles can produce vapours that aren’t great for their little lungs.

Wow I those are cool!! I love how the sign leans in a very Whoville/Charlie Brown kinda way. I have two tips. First on the plunger sign, if that is dollar tree glitter ribbon go over it with a coat of mod Podge. That glitter likes to be everywhere except where you want it. If you want a quick cheap way to get a different font, just print them on your computer, Cut them out, glue down, or trace, and just paint them. It will still look hand drawn.

Tip: to get stickers off, use a hair dryer, fan the sticker for like a minute, going back and forth, than it's just to peel it off😉

I normally wait till after thanksgiving for Christmas. But I've lived in the desert for a few years now and just really miss the winter, so I broke out Christmas Nov 1 this year. Put a little blob on the bottom of the metal base of the wick and glue it to the container. Just make sure the melted candle wax isn't hot enough to melt the hot glue again.
