Every time I watch one of these I get some really good ideas that I think will work for me. Next time at the dollar tree I can't find those items. I was there today looking for the shelf risers. Not a one in the store.

I store my ribbon spools differently. I inherited a TON of ribbon spools from another crafter - I mean a TON! I sorted them all by rainbow order color. THen each color went into a storgae ziploc bag - either 1 gallon or 2.5 gallon. Then i tossed all the baggies into a giant Rubbermaid tub. I keep the tub on my 1-season porch because it doesn't matter if they frreeze or cook. I'm talking about a ton of ribbon spools - and I already donated some! Love the paint stand hack - nifty! Another crafter on youtube stores Stickles size bottles in plastic ice cube trays with the flexible bottoms. cut an 'x' in center, insert bottles upside down. tfs!

We recently created a crafting area for her to store her items. Basically using Cube Storage Units. We will be going to Dollar Tree this morning and see what we can find and use. Hi! Great ideas! Great video, clear speech and directions...and awesome editing! My favorite project is the paint caddy! I love how that was made! I bought the same napkin holders for a shelf that stores my personal grooming products. I keep my BATH AND BODY WORKS lotion tubes stacked in the napkin holder! Ha! I also have another one of the napkin holders near my prayer chair- holding my mini daily devotional books side by side. I use the same silver paper towel holder that you have in your video to store my hair scrunchies and ties! I just stack them over the top. I will be making your paint caddy soon. Alot of great ideas.. but if someone is on even more of a budget - these can be one thing beyond that.... - Another way for the little paint bottles with the napkin holders - not use the paper towel holder.. save that dollar, and just use the napkin holders. If you want them vertical, just zip tie the napkin holders together similarly if you were using the paper towel holder. - Then, instead of the wooden boxes on the wire shelves - just use a piece of cardstock as a base under those long signs, and then the bottles of paint will stand by themselves, without the wooden boxes. - With the ribbon - you could just stand the rolls up like if they were on the dowels - that way it may be easier to take the roll out if you have a larger project with that one roll.. - In addition - if anyone has those wire grids to make shoe organizers for your closet... If you have a couple of those square grids left over - you can hang that grid on the wall by your desk with the dollar store hooks (like the command hooks) and then use more of those square bins, and use another hook to hang it on the grid.

Another option for placing things on the wire rack is to use a DT vinyl placemat on top of the wire rack.

Pull your ribbon through the holes on the sides of the basket, then you just pull out what you need and cut it off, that way you never need to open it up to get to the ribbon on the bottom:)

Thanks for the video, love the ribbon storage idea! One tip is possibly get knitting needle stoppers (or even rubber pencil end erasers), they could be put on the outside so the dowels don't escape?

You could pull a piece of each ribbon thru the holes on the basket. That might make it easier get what you needed in a hurry..and not have to take the basket down each time.

For the ribbons on the dowels, you could thread the tip of the ribbon through the holes in the box organizer. Then you would see all your ribbon.

You could pull ribbon you are using through a hole in the box then just pin it again when you are done. No need to remove rod!
