Finished Dollhouse last week, my Whedon initiation is finally complete. I was kind of reluctant to watch this show, mostly because Whedonites tend to hate on it so hard. It's really quite good, the possibilities behind the concepts were enough to keep me up at night thinking about them. I enjoyed both seasons rather a lot, and not just for the beloved familiar faces of Faith, Fred, Wesley, Wash, River, Penny, Badger, that Sheriff from The Train Job... the list goes on. In my unprofessional opinion, Dollhouse rivals the best of any other Whedon show. Believe it. I encourage any Buffy/Angel/Firefly fans who haven't checked it out to do so in a timely fashion so you can actually understand this trailer.
Since the text was kind of fragmented and spread out, it goes like this:
"In the dollhouse, anyone can happen.
The conspiracy runs deep, so be careful who you wish for.
The truth is static. (as in, unclear, hard to understand or be sure of, etc. It's a metaphor. I thought I was being clever).
Without freedom, no one has a name."
The last line is a quote from Milton Acorda, I definitely didn't come up with that.
:D
