Those were the best times . I am 62 & I remember my dad & mom use to love watching these fine people. Time has changed. I 🙏🏼My kid & grandkids can have these days back .
I'm 85....now it's 2024.....and this fun show really finally makes me LAUGH! There were many really good shows with lots of 'characters' . And the comedies were usually genuinely funny!
With Dean on it you never know where or what he might say next. Just dawn on me this isn't the Dean Martin Show but a lot of the jokes would of been found on his show. Dom was on Dean's Show a lot.
Why "was",?😐 As of the exact typing and posting of this, this BEAUTIFUL Lady IS Still VERY MUCH With Us Today at the Age of Ninety-One Years Young ! 😊😊😊
Why is it even when they got tawdry back then, it was still cleaner humor than they have today? They say history tends to repeat itself - but I highly doubt we'll never see those days again. Those were the days and I miss em.
I like all these classic comedys most of all Dean Martin, hes known as king of cool and his shows are great, he dose his own jokes his shows his own way, i like that, Angie Dickinson is beutiful, and Don Deluies is funny to but Dean Martin is the king of cool
Great to see old sketches like this on RU-vid. Angie Dickinson was born in 1931 so she was 51 or 52 when this was made and what a stunning beauty she was for that age. Dean Martin had the misfortune to die on Christmas Day in 1995.
And Still IS ! 😐😐😐 No Need for past tense ! ... . Unless there is some.. ...VERY Sad Immedeate Circumstance that I am woefully not aware of; She IS VERY Much With us Today at the WONDERFUL Age of Ninety-One Years Young ,! 😌😊😊😊🧸😊😊
Up toll just now I thought this was a Dean Martin Show. Just noticed the year, realize Dean was on Dom show. It's highly unusual to find Dean doing a guest spot... Only for his best friends. Angie and Dean was always great together too.
My mom loved her also. My mom was 3 years younger than Angie!! She’s always been my favorite movie star & TV star!! I just received all 4 seasons of Police Woman!!
You knew the humor was real if they couldn't keep a straight face look at the Carol Burnett show they always lost it at times esp Harvey Korman with Tim Conway no body stood a chance with Tim
@@karlbensley58 I was heavily edited BUT it WAS with a live audience. When they are breaking that much it's gonna get edited,, especially when Dom gets a little too dirty..
@@2packs4sure You can see when he breaks the knight stick and one half falls to the floor, then he answers the phone and he still has the knight stick full in tact hanging from his wrist. Then next scene he wipes his face and the knight stick is gone from his wrist and the floor! Yes it was edited but nobody would ever notice these facts during the TV special. It is only 40 years later with the help of RU-vid video pause and play that we can notice this stuff. This skit is the funniest I have ever seen. I have been watching this video for the past three days on and off and each time I just crack up. Feels good to laugh.
@@luciodeluca3257 Lol,, I'm sure glad you're enjoying it !! The original tape was destroyed during hurricane Harvey so I'm sure glad I transferred it when I did !! I got hooked on a Coach blooper with Jerry Van Dyke recently and watched it MANY times for a over week,, lol.. Jerry just COULD NOT get through that courtroom scene,, lol.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d0ogf8qZ6pU.html
Absolutely the funniest comedy skits I have seen in decades. I sure miss this type of humor. Did you notice Dean Martin pinching Dom Deluise on the arm during the part where Angie sits on the "knight stick"? I think Dean thought that the ad lib comment was a bit too much for TV back then. I don't think Dean expected that from Dom! ...and Angie Dickinson was absolutely gorgeous. Wowzie Wowzie!
Yeah it's fun stuff, glad you enjoyed it,, and just an FYI,,, when Dean pinched a fellow performer like that it meant (well done or nice one) !! It was a quiet compliment from Dean.
@@2packs4sure STILL IS ,! .. . I'd PUSH That.. ... Not - Quite... Accurate Sentiment Out and Say of ANY Era ! Not Only THAT... .. Why Not Change This Sentiment to Present Tense ! She IS .. ...Being VERY Much With Us Today at the WONDERFUL Age of Ninety-One Years Young ,! 😊🧸😊😊😊
Dean Martin is a great actor and singer and a wonderful comedian always been a favorite of mine and Angie Dickinson well mmmm what a wonderful beautiful incrediblely sexy woman the kind of woman that makes a man feel like a man I'd like to expect her to if you know what I mean king of cool and Hollywood bombshell what a pair
I'm Inspector Herbody, Dom's magnifying glass makes everything larger. Angie, Dino & Dom are larger than life, and Hysterically Funny ! Sergeant Pepper Anderson Had Hot Legs And Made A Warm Bust. Way Too Funny !
@@2packs4sure Yep. They're so genuinely. funny that they could bring tears of joy & laughter out of a rock ! When ever I see these repeats I can't stop cracking up. {Be Well.}
I'm not entirely sure what you're talking about BUT a laugh that was often heard in the background on the Dean Martin show and in this sketch was Greg Garrison...
@@maxipaz5597 Yes She took care of her sister who incidentally was a real Policewoman AND she also took care of her Daughter who suffered from Asperger's Disease. Her daughter ultimately committed suicide at age 42. She declined the role of "Kristal Carrington" on Dynasty because she wanted to take care of them both. The role eventually went to Linda Evans.
You’re right Mark she did take care of her sister Mary Lou!! She talked about her on The Oprah Winfrey show . Episode dated October 28, 1992. You can find the interview on RU-vid.
Angie was either 52 or 54 here. Far more beautiful, stunning, gorgeous and sexy than 95 percent of the women in their 50's, 40's, 30's and even in their 20's! She was always dieting with constant exercise telling everyone that exercise was not enough-you must also diet! Does anyone have her TV movies on DVD? Among my favorites is "overboard" with Cliff Robinson. So sexy!!! 😈😏😍🤗👍💞♥️💞
Old American (and British... eg. Benny Hill) comedy is all about innuendo. They weren't allowed to be blatantly sexual so they had to hide it in some way. But it was popular because everyone wanted to feel a nit naughty. Glad we're in the 21st century now.
Romulus Augustus- Belasarius ... One of the fun part with the Dean Martin show was that they leave mistakes in for the laugh. Thou this was not Dean's show Dom's who show this was learned from the best cause Dom was on Dean show a lot.
how come his truncheon was back on his wrist at 3:26 ? and back off at 3:34 edited and then the laughter put on afterwards ,HOW FAKE AND FALSE , not even filmed in front of an audience , all the time pretending to be acted out and ad libbed
