DOM RS8 System Euro Lock Pick and Gut 

Impressive pick! This is an older type of lock which is no longer made new (you can still order cilinders to key). By the way, it is not the RS8 cilinder, but the RS5. The RS8 has some extra pins and a very different key. These types of masterkey-systems are mostly used in schools, office and other (bigger) buildings. There is no anti-snap function, because most of the times these cilinders are used inside. At the time this type came out (somewhere in the 80's or 90') snapping locks wasn't that big of a deal. I think there is also a "security" version, with hardened steel elements in the housing.

As posted by others, the RS8 has 3 extra pins lifted by a sidebar sitting on the right side of the key. I am a Dorma RS8 dealer, so I will provide some details in an e-mail at some point this weekend

Beautiful pick. I just finally got the hang of my DOM R +. Those DOM "dumbbell" spools are an interesting pick. Definitely one of the harder "blue belt" locks IMO but you made it look easy as always.
