I remember seeing a reddit post that claimed people were sleeping on the double laser upgrade, and boy was he right. This extends the amount of waves by so much compared to the sword dome! Love the effort, and amazing run; can't wait to watch through it all.
Nice run I watched at 4X speed. In the last hour there's nothing to do. I'd rather dig around to make sure i didn't skip any ores than use radar spam after checking the most bottom layers.
Great run! Outta curiosity, why don't you get the last power upgrade for the laser? If I'm not mistaken it prevents you from moving while shooting, but you aren't doing that anyways? The power boost is quite significant
Yeah the last upgrade destroys projectile attacks if the laser hits them. I don't think it happens often and the hitbox is actually pretty small so I'd rather go for the extra prestige score boost.
Can you explain the logic of leaving rows of three over two? I always go twos. I understand it results in less time spent digging, but I find myself asking... what if I leave some water or cobalt
Until the very late stages of the game, iron is really the only thing that's important, so I'd rather rush for iron and if I miss any water or cobalt then I'll get it after I finish mining down and have time to probe the whole map.
Triple cobalt tree would be sweet but I've never gotten that lucky. I definitely could've played better, though, so there's still room for improvement for sure.
