So I didn’t wait for your video about this to be published before I bought it from you guys on pre-sale, but now that I see your excellently detailed coverage of it (more detailed than any others I looked at a couple of days ago), I’m even more excited to get it!
@Rossi 21 I’m not trying to give value to anyone? Snowys’ social media team are very interactive and seem to enjoy a conversation and I figured they might be pleased to now that their videos can result in sales. Information that I left out of my initial comment was that I saw the video about the tap before the video about the jerry can was released, and therefore their detailed and informative videos resulted in a sale. Feedback like this would go a long way in letting them know they’re doing a good job. What value were you trying to add by saying my comment had no value?
I'm a fan of the Dometic GO Hydration water tap (aka Faucet) that is compatible with this water jug. Finger's crossed Dometic releases a 20L version of this water jug with a similar form factor of a standard jerrycan. That way it can be a straight swap for my current 20L water jerry and will still fit into my jerrycan holder. And at the same time, is easily compatible with the Dometic wireless water tap.🤞🤞
I hope Dometic will seriously consider releasing a 20L version. Key will be to have the dimensions similar (or identical) to the standard 20L jerrycan. That way for many potential buyers (like me), I can still fit it into my jerrycan holder mounted on my 4WD. A 20L version and the Dometic wireless tap would be a perfect combination for me.

Have been using a standard 10L jug for a few years and getting sick of the thread on the cheap jug taps resulting in an upside down tap or a moving tap so this looks great just for the increased robustness of it but the addition of the electric tap will be a game changer for my fully-removable van camping setup. looks good :) we usually use the 10L Water Jugs (with Spring Water) from the shops, but the cap/taps don't always seal up very well (understandably, since they are so cheap). I like the fact that these Dometic Jugs have those mouldings so they can be tied down easily. Cheers, Don (Dons Shed and Xplor Overland)
After using flimsy plastic and losing some water due to leakage in +90 degree weather every drop counts and this guarantees I'll have every drop by the time I get the campsite
I am very interested at this product purely because it has a large hole on the top for me to clean the inside. However, the price tag is almost $100. It there any cool/important features this jug has over a normal jerry can.
The size makes it a bit more manageable, with the webbed carrying straps & versatility of the standard tap or optional powered pump tap. The walls of the jug are super thick, so whilst not insulated its practically bomb proof. A couple of other nifty features like the size of the hole for cleaning as you've mentioned, and moulding for easy tie down. Also comes with a 3yr warranty. It not really designed to compete with jerry cans, more so the alterative water jugs and coolers out there. ~ Lauren
Not as yet @Nick Ash, seems as though everyone pretty happy with it. If you think its the tubbing, try soaking them in red cordial. Apparently its a fail proof solution....you may get some faint red cordial taste for a few uses after, but it goes away. ~ Lauren
Are you referring to the sticky pads for the tap, Kimberlee? I'm not sure how to help, maybe get in touch with the place you purchased the product, or directly with Dometic themselves. ~ Ben
