I checked the trade in value for my 10.5 iPad pro 256GB and they only gave me $100. I could get apple to install a new battery for that much and be good for another 3 years. I'm passing on the new pro this time around. My mini6 and Pro 10.5 are enough for now.

I bought the iPad Pro 11 M4 should be here Wednesday the 15th traded in my 10.5 seven year old iPad Pro which cost $729 in 2017 also got a 10% educational discount which saved another $108. So my final cost was $792. so I guess I’m good for another 7 years. At the same time I also purchased the logic tech combo keyboard case for $229. just arrived today it’s great full function keys light up keyboard no batteries made specifically for the new iPad Pro. One year warranty very light perfect. They’ve now included a giant trackpad, which will be great. Had same case on my old iPad lasted me 7 years even after a couple of drops. My iPad never got damaged, and is still functioning perfectly today. Easy to separate with magnetic connector. Much better than Apple‘s so called magic keyboard which I always thought sucked. This does a lot more and it’s $70 less only place you can order right now is from Apple because of it being so new. In about a month it’ll probably be $199 maybe less once they ramp up production and sell on Best Buy’s or Amazon, etc.

Minor point of clarification: it’s millimeter-wave (mmWave) for the 5G cell band. If we were in nanometer-wave (nmWave) we would likely be having our devices communicating via visible flashes of light (or infrared/UV/Xray) which would give us higher data rates but might be rather annoying (or dangerous) in practice.

I am buying match iPad Pro with one terabyte of memory and the non-glare screen and I’m trading in my M1 iPad 11 inch that has 256 memory and I’m getting the same amount you are and I’m really looking forward to it

I hate that there's two versions of the M4. If you get 256/512 Gb you will lose a couple cores and onboard Ram. If you get iPad Pro M4 1TB and above is the only way to get the full performance of the chip. Where's the Mini, Timmy?

it doesnt really matter tbh. like there is anything that could push the ipad given the software limitation. i have the m1 12.9 and cant manage to push it further base from my use cases.

The EU directive is for all PD chargers not to be included in the box, and OEMs have agreed to this rather than the EU having to make a law. You cannot agree with the EU killing Lightning for e-waste reasons and then complain when they kill chargers in the box for the same reason.
