Where have you been all my gol;fing life, Chris? What a find your channel has been for my golfing sanity! I am a feel player (also a former tennis player& baseball player) and can sense when I hit the correct positions, making the tennis stroke or baseball swing nearly effortless. Try as I might, I have not been able to find that 'feel' while trying to hit down on the ball. I tried your method today, and I'm instantly longer with each club. Many thanks! Keep the videos coming!
Went out to my net with this swing thought, lol... so far so good. on the downswing I just try to get the handle moving up and left vs trying to smash the handle side down.
Chris, what about us who have knackered backs and don’t have that rotational movement? I have been watching Pete Cowan and his spin the arm down. I guess that is working on the same principles? Great content as usual 👍
Definitely a few things that have to be adapted when you look into physical limitations, typically the concepts would be the same but often done to a smaller degree
Trying to understand this technique. Does this mean before the grip makes an upward movement, your clubhead is actually on a swing plane to hit slightly under the ball?
Look at the Second Hand on a Clock or Watch. As the Tip of the Sweep Hand approachs "3" and the Tab - that extends past the Central Pivot - approaches "9" the Tip is going Down and the Tab is going Up. The "Pivot Point" of the Shaft is actually on the Club's Grip where your Upper Index Finger and Lower Pinky Finger meet. On a Golf Pride MCC Grip, where the bottom of the Cord ends and the top of Colored Rubber starts.
Well done Chris. On a side note - I thought the full swing monitor did not measure attack angle. You have shown that it does, is this correct. Also as you are an ambasidor, do you have any special deals on this that you can share. Tx.
Yep the full swing kit measures everything, club and ball info so all that key data. I do work along side FullSwing but don’t have any codes U.K. afraid, well worth looking into through great piece of kit
Yes, the usually more Forward Ball Position will then have the Driver Head descend to "6 o'clock" and start Rising towards "7" like the Second Hand on a Clock.
