Glastonbury is a bucket list item for me. What a lineup this year. Noel Gallagher into Paul McCartney on Saturday, Diana Ross into Kendrick Lamar on Sunday. My only concern is what do people do about the bathroom? No way you are getting out of that crowd once you get in, and with 100,000 people strong you’d never get in time in between acts. You want to drink but then you have to pee haha.
I’ve known people to just piss themselves. It’s not really gonna smell after consuming loads of beer anyway, it’s just water. People are covered in all sorts of shit at festivals. Don’t worry
Man our dream is to come to Glastonbury someday and party with all of you! I live in Canada where the vibe is definitely different! You guys have that passion we lack lol ✌️❤️🤘
More than a few my friend lol He is constantly changing up his sound which I think is awesome! Some criticize him for doing so but hey.. worked for Bowie didn't it!😎
Paul McCartney, Noel Gallagher, Crowded house, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss were the only groups who played music with 'actual tunes' and with musicians that could play their instruments to a professional level. That's because they wrote music before the internet brainwashed people.
@@jamesirvine7268 There is still plenty of good musicians still but the music they play is no longer wanted. People no longer want tunes you could whistle if you heard it. Most of the music at this concert sounds like the same song. It's an age thing, girls Larkin Poe are young along with Hannah Wicklund and they write their own material but it's an old generation that follow them. Blues/Rock is no longer a sound that youth want. Hannah Wicklund & The Steppin Stones - 'Bomb Through the Breeze (Audiotree Live)' wouldn't be acceptable to this audience today nor would Larkin Poe - 'Bad Spell'. They just don't get it. Folk/Country/Rock is also another no no: example THE WHITE BUFFALO - "Wish It Was True" (Official Music Video) or The Dead South - In Hell I'll Be In Good Company [Official Music Video]. All these groups have a small audience.
@@jamesirvine7268 The good artists will always be here, the few examples I mentioned are great, but they write and play a musical style from the 20th century. This generation doesn't want that sound.
All uk festivals banned them years ago. Glastonbury isn't about enforcing shitty rules like this though. It would take away a bit of the freedom that the festival is all about if they were to be banned mind.
@@ceinhannan they could have a limit maybe, but I do understand the ban. They could stipulate flags only in areas that are nowhere near the stages. That way it meets halfway
Great to see people still loving Noel’s tunes from the 90’s! But can someone tell me what’s up with all those flags? It’s the most obscure set of absolute bollocks flags I’ve ever seen!
@@kerryduck2599 Yes, me too! No doubt they obscure the view. There was a time when people took their own flags, but these are mounted on fixed flag poles and they’re so obscure it’s like they’ve been chosen so as to not cause offence! It just seems ridiculous…if people want to turn up with national flags or football flags etc. then fine, but get rid of these stupid meaningless flags.
@@theselector4733 LOL actually without getting into too much detail but its a british phrase for people that go to public places and have sex in cars with the windows down and let people walk about and watch them. There are apparently well known places to do this, quite the thing if that's what they are in to. Personally I find the thought of it disgusting.
@@Ryl_-wc9yw no it came up when I was watching the beatles I said not interested youtube said ok we will tune your notifications , comprendo, answer your questions both of you lol,,,,,
Paul McCartney becomes glastonburys biggest header ever I'll never foget him getting a 17yr old girl who was a fan sacked for putting wrong fuel in his car 1986 she should of set it a light I know it was not a pleasant experience but she was so excited seeing her idol And he cuts of her head WTF
@@harwoods11 thank feck I'm atheist I don't look up to any one only the jolly green giant and he was only an advert for peas same size as McCartneys balls
@@harwoods11 I said she idol him as a supporting fan of music I am assured she had not seen him as a God but I do think he thinks that of himself he even cut of lindas legs And every time they were drunk he called her names that was in horse & hound magizine
There are no gods in this world no matter how big and how much money and power you have you will still be going to see the same maker as i wil be seeing no matter what you have all the world's a stage, and all the men and woman merely players: they have their exits and their entrence's:
This guy's a knob. Funny how he's leaning heavy on these tunes after seeing how well they're going down at his brother's gigs. Not so long ago he was dismissive of playing Oasis songs and the nostalgia surrounding them. He'll be begging Liam for a reunion soon.
No mate he has been playing at least a third Oasis tunes at his gigs for the last 11 years. Besides, he fucking wrote them haha can do what he wants. And, the tunes that are doing the best at Liam's gigs? Yeah he wrote them too; deserves some respect
@@charliej7724 He wrote them but certainly can't sing them. Oasis would probably never have taken off without LG's voice and persona. Like Liam said, anyone can play Noel's guitar parts... Replacing a frontman is damn near impossible.
@@charliej7724 I'd say 50/50 in their case. Both were talented in different ways. However, I think Liam a bit more so as he has written some brilliant tunes when with Oasis. Noel has the stage presence of a broom, so Liam has the edge. Look at the Stones with Brian, who was the founder and principal songwriter. When he died he was easily replaced. Keith had already stepped up and they've had couple of guitarists since, who arguably played with them during their best years Imagine the Stones without Mick? Impossible. The frontman is called a frontman for a reason. He projects and articulates the songs. Shouldn't be underestimated.
@@nattyboyo2404 Mate, it's fair enough if you prefer to watch Liam as he is deffo more entertaining. But strictly musically speaking, Noel is absolutely much more talented. Liam has written a small handful of decent tunes himself; Noel has written dozens of incredible songs
@@thedigitalemotion I was there and I thought for an 80-year-old man he was fantastic. You guys all expect him to be able to sing as though he is still aged forty.
