I really don't think they hate each other as much as they led out too, I think the reality is they are both just too stubborn to actually work things out
One of the last few authentic and real talents left in the music world today. Noel is the greatest songwriter of my lifetime. His songs are part of the soundtrack of my life. He's also a great talker and makes for a great interview.
Great interview - I love that he pauses to consider the question posed and give a thought out answer. He’s an interesting guy and what a prolific song writer. One of my musical heros
@@beardedtit7692 he is your right British born indeed . But wouldn't exist without ireland the other brother classes himself irish I don't think Noel or Liam claim any affiliation with it Ireland
@herb2078 Noel has said he's Irish since day 1. He was asked the other day about Foden playing for England and replied "I' don't care im not an England fan. I'm Irish". He's ethnically Irish, Irish parents Irish surname and Irish passport
Never particularly been a fan of Noel's music, but man, I could listen to his interviews all day, always honest and totally genuine, great stories too 😃
He’s great mate! Noel really isn’t trying to rewrite the book on how to be a man.. if you look up to him that’s great, if not fly away Much love to the living legend peace be upon him: Noel Gallagher
This is an individual who deserves all good things to happen to him, eternally, I wish him and his family health and happiness.A great songwriter, performer and human being.
I think he's getting a better idea of it, he was talking about how blown away he is by all of these young kids who's parents got them into Oasis on the That Pedal Show here on YT a couple of weeks ago. Has alot of them come up to him and chat him up. If you're into guitar, definitely check that one out, it's a phenomenal interview, he plays through all of his gear and that legendary Les Paul of his too!
For God's sake. Noel is so personable and open about his life, it's hard to not love him. Aside from the obvious Oasis reunion, his storytelling is why he such a great song writer. We need an Oasis rebirth
@@ivanjulian2532 well only difference is I'm not in a a world famous band with my sister or my mum 😅 and I know it's not our business, it would just be nice, at least for the sake of their mum
Not just a great songwriter but amazing wit and storyteller. I was fourteen. when What's The Story was released and Oasis will always be etched as the soundtrack of my youth.
I’m 2 and a bit years older than Noel… And didn’t really appreciate how great he was in the 90’s but grew to love this cat! What a dude! I saw him play at the Chicago Theater (great venue) a few years ago and he and the High Flying Birds knocked it out of the park…. Best proper rock and roll show I’ve seen since the 1980’s!
Exactly. I'm 60 and - apart from Champagne supernova - i found Oasis to be self-indulgent and arrogant. Now I'm blown away by his last 4 albums. Incredible songwriter and singer.
Give your mum a hug the next time that you see her Noel, time / life is finite and there is nothing more important in anybody's life than their mum. #LiveForeveer
Funny, at 16:49, he states “Some people weren’t even born when the band broke up…” Hard to believe it’s been that long. Wow, hard to fathom now that I think about it!🎧
The longest running talk show in the world. When I was growing up in Cork it was the legend Gay Byrne presenting. This is a very relaxed chat with Noel Gallagher. We had ‘Plastic Paddy’ neighbours from Manchester the Moloney’s growing up. Great times.
I' m not an Oasis fan at all (BLUR) all day, but i love Noel and what a great guy. Recently watched him on "That Pedal Show" and was totally transfixed at how down to earth he is. Brilliant fella!!
I really didn't realize that Oasis existed until 2023. That being said, I've enjoyed listening to both brothers. Noel seems down-to-earth and personable. 🎶🌠🎸
I'm not really into his music but he's always great to listen to. He's like the accidental rock star to me. It's like the genius fell into the wrong person but actually turned out to be the right person for it.
Lovely interview. Noel is always a perfect guest. I could listen to his stories all day. I love Council Skies, moreover his production of the tracks. In another reality, I wish Noel had produced the Liam+Squire album. Coz he would have given it more depth. More highs and lows. The album in real life has the same tone throughout. This high pitch…every guitar part and vocal pitch. It’s like it was all recorded in one session. Noel would have broken it down and have it a John Leckie like feel. A more robust and classic vibe.
@@MADCHESTERUTD-vb7vy yup. I honestly don’t want a reunion unless it’s mostly original members at least. No interest in Gem Andy or the Starkey drummer. One night only at wembley with original members/whitey would be enough for me
Great guy Noel Gallagher never forget where he came from, as for bono what a hypocrite he has about as much in common with the irish working class as sand has to grass a complete FAKE
For big fans how do we feel when we hear a story for the 1000th time ha. First reference to Sara in this I can recall since the split. Interviewers clearly briefed not to raise.
He’s a absolute gentleman I’ve seen him on the tube a few times and at shopping mall always say alright I don’t pester him but have got photos with him and he always obliged a great guy glad to hear his mum is good as she’s so like my mum and she’s just had her cataracts done 🙏🏼🫶🏼
man i almost didn't watch this interview cause I thought it was the American show with the Corden dude who i cannot stand for a second, but i guess it's a different version of it, Noel as always, brilliant, funny and sincere AF, all respect to him
He seemed more nervous in this interview , Noel is one of the best raconteurs when it comes to interviews, I could listen to him all day , he was slightly less confident than he usually is during this I thought, lots of pauses. He warmed into it as it went on.
There's always a marked difference between his interviews in Ireland and anywhere else. The respect he shows for his spiritual home is great to see, and considering he is ruthless in any other situation it says a lot about how he feels about Eire. Be good to see him apologising for that Butcher's Apron guitar he had in the 90's but I suspect am pissing into the wind with that 😄
