I have bought items at outlet stores, clearance sales, etc. I'd be wearing $20 worth of clothes, $15 shoes, and no one knew. I'd get so many compliments and you couldn't tell me I didn't look good. 😂 Meanwhile, I can put the rest of my money somewhere that matters - buy some dividend stocks, pay on my mortgage, or anything other than a $1,000 handbag. People argue me down, but I can't see that as an investment. It's so nice to hear a black woman who is making money making some sense.

My purse rule... never carry a purse that costs more than you have in it or the bank. I once purchased a bag from Walmart for $5... it lasted 3 years..I got my money's worth🤣

She doesn't live in the ghetto...and this is a individual walk....I don't have a car, I only have three pair of pants from thrift shop.....but I have three houses and 4 duplex rental properties...I work a regular blue collar job and make more money in forex than I do on my job...I have property in Africa and my family thinks I'm broke and that's how I like it

A 16000 watch like a rolex is actually a great investment. Let's say its 18k you can resell it for about 13500, try that with a car and your reselling that car for about 8000 so....................

I've bought a few designer clothes in my time.Not anymore ,when I wear the cheaper clothes get compliments all day and designer clothes " Not one word".I was taught no one name is better than mine. It's all about knowing how to make your clothing and accessories look like it cost 💰Trust and believe 🛋🛋

On the other hand you sometimes get lucky and they’re super cool. I remember I gave my grandma a ride to the mall. She wasn’t rich but I remember she was looking at all the purses and some younger worker asked her which one she wanted to look at. I was acting as her translator because she only speaks Spanish and most times workers give me crap for this but this lady was kind and patient with us and she was very understanding. Ultimately my grandma didn’t buy an expensive purse but she did buy a cheaper one and it still suited her if you ask me.

Gotta shop the sales, or gently used...I don't think i ever spent more than $20 on pants. I just put some good tires on my car for $300. Only paid $1400 for the car. Looks brand new, but it's 12 yrs old. My cars usually last at least 6 yrs and I always pay cash. Nothing wrong with having money in the bank.
