And even if he is free to say these things, the company paying for his airtime doesn't need to endorse him and give him a platform to spread it. That is their choice.
Like really, I've been watching him since 79' and it's a fact that takes him out, that's crazy to me. The left are liberals gone wild, trying to screw everybody that doesn't bend to their loony standards.

That being said, I disagree he doesn't belong. He's been listened to by millions of people and no one agrees with everything he says but he has experience to enlighten people even today. Look at music for a comparison, freaks everywhere on stage and off stage, so I don't believe half the stuff in music belongs in front of anyone's eyes but I wouldn't say it shouldn't belong because everyone gets to make a choice with what they watch and times change. Grapes is timeless because he talks hockey, and supports veterans and respecting the country and appreciating its blessings because of dead people who made it what it is. That belongs, and his fallibleness belongs too, he's all good even when wrong because he means it from the heart, a good place.

Don't get me wrong ...I really enjoyed when Don talked hockey but he crossed the line many times. I grew up on him...even as a young kid I didn't realize some of the other stuff he was saying...Pat Quinn did a pretty good summary of what we see with Cherry....

My only problem with Cherry is he is 100% pro Canadian. He's always bashing European players and even American players. I guess he doesn't realize that without the United States the NHL would be back to a 6 team league with only Canada watching. They would fold within 10 years.
