I remember when this came out '71' I as was all of 14 and listening to it today it still causes me to tear up. Such a beautiful tribute to very talented artist unappreciated in his time.

I recently told my 85-yr old mom that this was a beautiful song she might enjoy -- so, she got it on her "alexa" whatever thing.. and then I heard from two of my sisters that Mom was worried I might be depressed/suicidal? - I had to tell her that if I were truly depressed , I would certainly not convey that to her in some sort of 40-year old folk song "code" -- lol

@@VaiReacts You're welcome. This song is based on a true story so i think you will like it. Another one you might like is "Leader of the Band" by Dan Fogelerg. It's a heart touching tribute to his father.
