Even as I write this message, tons of cocaine are moving around the world to reach their customers. The issue is never Escobar, the issue is that state administrators are secret Escobars. Remember, everyone has a price..

It's a reflection of how people are now. Some are so sensitive that just hearing certain words offends them. Unfortunately, everyone is catering to those people. Advertisers don't want to be "canceled" bc their ad is shown on a video with "offensive" content. So RU-vid restricts and demonitizes anything people complain about. It's absolutely ridiculous. It was supposed to be a platform for everyone to say what they want, now it's more censored than actual television.
@James-vn8zb

@@KingMe2 Things like the term safe space are what got us here. I'm guessing you meant it as a place that was safe for people to create content without censorship. Unfortunately, now people think everywhere and everything should be a "safe space" for them. People need reality. One's safe space should be inside their and if they don't like something going on inside that home, change it. Like a RU-vid video for instance.

I feel like this same guy has told multiple stories about Pablo's death. I believe at one point Pablo was shooting at them from the roof. I also like how he said the window used to be higher, then they go to the picture and it's at the same height. We get it. He was running away and they had a kill order. They never intended to capture him alive.

People who were actually there said, “ he came out of the window trying to escape but found himself in a shoot out.”. There are also footage of this one army guy in a car who had seen Pablo first and called it in. Great video tho.

Great documentary overall. Pablo was close to taking over the Columbian Government. The US most likely feared another Fidel Castro situation, but far worse. With the exportation of cocaine, Pablo could have been very powerful on the world-wide stage & I suspect this was a motivating factor for the US. It wasn't a war on drugs, but the fear of losing control.

Good information. Badly let down by piss poor audio. Like multiple audio tracks on several languages at the same level at the same time is simply garbled...sort your lack of audio skills or employ somebody who has the skills you lack !

If you're doing voiceovers, turn down the volume on the original track, as it's very difficult to hear the english narrator if the background is equally loud.

Would it not be a good idea to turn down the volume of people talking spanish and then over-dub in english louder, then it doesn`t just sound like two people babbling and the watcher not hearing anything but babbling?

That's not true all drug lords give to the neighborhoods so that they are on their side and give them information it's all a mind game the drug lords are just using the people and the people think they actually care about them and since the government doesn't help any of the people they of course see the drug dealer as the good guy

Truth is Pablo although a ruthless man who killed with no regard for those who got in the way he kept that dark aspect of the drug trade at bay as well as one can and he had a level of control that had authorities taken a different approach and our governments been more honest letting the fact that drugs will always be here and readily available some kind of partnership could have been could have been sought between the two sides so that Pablo could run the drug trade with less murder and terrorizing of people and the government could have got their kick backs

His ability to grow his power to the point of almost running his country was the very reason he was never going to be controlled by the U.S govt. He was a major threat to the drug profits of the CIA
