I'm the same as you, the depression hits hard at times, it takes a toll on us old men, women too and can take days to get back. The Lord is still there and always has His hand outstretched to pick ya up. My favorite song, even at 63yrs is "Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so"; I don't care if it's a kiddy song, it comforts me, try it.

Remember our anger is self inflicted connected to our personal experiences. I still do the same things to myself and i fight this battle every day, it gets easier the more we truly learn about ourselves.
KJV has changed my life too, I can’t believe at 39 it took me this long to begin to really understand. I want to know the Lord, he’s been speaking to me and I want to know the truth. All this time I thought it was just by faith alone that I’m saved. Well why did I go to hell in a DMT trip. I knew I was in hell and here I was told I didn’t matter if I had fallen but I was “once saved always saved.” I prayed that the Lord would reveal to me the truth and he took me through several verses that plainly showed me. I then said out of my mouth after reading “faith is like the motor and our works is the gas that keeps the car going” I said wow God, thank you Hallelujah! And then I asked is that you?? In my head I heard “yes” 3x. I was once the seed that never took root….then I was the seed that got choked out by the thorns. Now the seed has been planted on good ground, there’s actual fruit and it’s flourishing. Praise the Lord!!!! I know that I have to do what’s right and not play around because I fear and love him. I’m taking my walk seriously bc like you said, I’ve been there and done that. It’s so empty, I want Jesus and his purpose for me. I owe him all of me and that will never be enough but I’m praying everyday that I’m worthy. I know what I deserve, from what I was shown about hell, it was excruciating pain to have that separation from him forever. This sin issue was so serious that he took me serious and died for me, fact that he loves me and wants to be my God and went through agony on earth, I owe him the rest of my little life left here on earth. Everything has changed, God is merciful and faithful!!!!

Long rant here brother Bryan. I appreciate you saying these things about messing up. If you still remember me and our past, private conversations, a big chunk of my life, since I was around 13 years old was all about playing guitar and listening to a vast array of secular music genres. It was tough after I got saved because bit by bit I slowly got convicted into giving up the "glory" of being in a band playing paying gigs, getting that ego boost from being praised for my skills, and having many like-minded friends and admirers. The videos, secular music, TV and movies, all gone, thankfully. I was doing really good, working for the Lord and all, really bold with planting seeds, reading the KJB, researching, studying and sharing your sermons, making preparations, etc. Then I messed up just this past April up until July, found myself listening to acid jazz-with the excuse that it is “gentler” than heavy rock or speed metal-thought I was enjoying it, then after a short period of time, realized I wasn't having fun at all. I messed up again, downloaded and watched "Black Mirror" episodes, deceiving myself with the rationalization that "I'm just going to study the episodes and see how they are preprogramming people into sympathizing with AI". Sure enough, my flesh and sin deceived me (Hebrews 3:13), and I ended up binge-watching all seasons, without taking notes at all. And this show is filthy by the way. (I'm not against StrangerThanFiction's methods, questioned it before but I get it now. I got led to KJVM through his channel. I did see one of his comments that made sense to me. He said something to the effect of, we have different levels of sanctification or maturity as Christians. I gather that he is able to watch the movies up to a point for his work, and is able to break away without getting sucked in. He's been doing a great job.) Back to the point. As long as we keep at it with the King James Bible, drop the pride (or the fear that some are having lately) and listen to preachers like you, Bryan (frankly, I haven't come across anyone else that challenges me to fight sin like you do, except Jacob), the Holy Spirit will not leave you alone ‘til you stop the old sins and turn back. “Funny” that you mentioned that you cried. I can’t remember the last time I shed full-on tears. But recently, while I was giving thanks to the Lord before supper, I suddenly wept because I felt so bad with messing up. After all this time that he was taking care of me-also, answering many of my prayers like you-and honestly, myself never lacking in anything all throughout my life; protected, from the time he formed me in my mother’s womb, despite all of the bad, risky stuff I did as a lost, evil fool. Never broke any bones, never got seriously ill or hospitalized. Suffered a home invasion as a lost, marijuana toking teen, gun to my face, got tied up, and made it out alive and with very minor injuries (only from the tight cords tied around my wrists). I find that one of the best ways to stay away from old habits is to fill the time working to spread the King James Bible's truth and plant seeds everywhere. Do our best to strive lawfully, as according to scripture (2 Timothy 2:4-5), always referring to the Bible in all things, and by studying other worthwhile things including natural health, historical wars and accounts of rough times, proper ways of physical exercise-and...typing up this lengthy comment. With messing up, not only do you feel really guilty toward God, you also get "spanked" by the Lord while you're in the middle of it, as I already have been chastened many times, past and present: sudden skin rashes, weird aches and injuries. And these were no accidents or due to carelessness. Brethren will know what I mean about the whippings.
To be clear, any Christian no matter how sanctified, is still harmed by watching Hollywood movies and hearing the music in those movies, even if the intention is good-such as to inform and wake people up like StrangerThanFiction's work. I just don't want brethren getting the wrong idea or make it as an excuse that it's okay to watch secular movies, if they're not called for it. However, if it's what God called for a Christian to do, which I believe is the case with STF, I believe it's similar in some ways to Paul or the other apostles who got stoned and beaten for preaching Jesus to their fellow Jews. You take hits for the KJB and your brothers and sisters in Christ out of charity.

I go through wanting to be in fellowship with people, and then I go through moments of wanting to be alone because I also go through bouts of depression and also need to draw close to God because im struggling with my flesh. Dear God... forgive me for telling this.. I am looking thru my first ever Bible (Concordance Revised Standard version). Now mind you, I was awarded this Bible in Sunday school. I received it when I was 10 yrs old. I am now 67. Ive been following you Bryan for about 2 months.. just found your channels. Ive had a KJV but was not understanding. I do now! The Lord has revealed many things to me. When you told who you believe is the anti Christ, and there are to be NO graven images of Jesus, i looked thru KJV, no pictures at all. Cool. I dug out that first childs Bible I received and it DOES have images of " Jesus" they are caricatures. One particular disturbing picture is " Jesus and the children". He is sitting on a chair, outside, with a small blonde boy on his lap. " jesus's arm is around the boy, with his hand in the boys lap. But wait.. theres more.. there is an older child, looks to be 10 ish. Has a necklace, so assuming it is a girl. She is standing facing forward, her right arm behind her back, her left hand seems to be disappeared into "jesus's robe in his lap! She is smiling off to the side so you only see one side of her face. There is an older man and woman looking on and they dont look happy. Seriously. It makes me sick! I even got my magnifying glass out. It reminds me of the scene in Truman Show where "True-man" is wise to his wedding photo, and gets his magnifying glass out to take a closer look, to discover the "bride actor) had her fingers crossed. Lord God in Heaven.. heal my eyes.. the veil is lifted. Thank you Lord for Brother Bryan.

Jesus' name in Hebrew is Yeshua. If we are Jewish, then we use Yeshua, and if we are English, then we use Jesus. The name Jesus has different pronunciations in each language in the world. Yeshua is the Hebrew word for "salvation". God bless. God is true. Jesus Christ is the Lord and He lives.

I am extremely weak when it comes to witnessing...probably because I feel as though I have to be a witness moreover for my "Local IFB Church".

I can absolutely understand why you don't want to be in a churchbuilding / temple when you can enjoy God His creation, i mean what a place. I also love to head out on my bicycle into one of the biggest nature reservoir in the Netherlands as i live close to it. And there is nothing better but to be still and be in God His presence as when you introspect yourself and meditate on His word and whatever truths come along.

The thing with hymns though, is that some we don't know who wrote them originally the the ones we know who wrote them, are they saved? Lots of "Christian" singers, songwriters who are not actually saved but yet sing songs of our faith. Recently, a "pastor" and his wife, who acted as a co-"pastor", sang and wrote songs but they finally fessed up and admitted that they did NOT believe in anything they sang!! So what hymn writers do we trust for good Christian songs?

I listened to about 4 pop songs a month ago and I can't even understand the lyrics, I know they're romantic and there's no cursing and almost 0 sexual context, for the ones I listened to, that group. Still messed me up. I fell sick the whole time knowing I was wrong.

Jehoshua is Jesus name in Hebrew and Jeshua is Jesus name in Hebrew shortened and Jesus is Jeshua transliterated. Like Jehovah and Jah. Jehoshua-Jeshua-Jesus and Jehovah-Jah-Ja. But in English I use what the Bible uses mainly that is Jesus, Lord, God, Almighty, Christ, and very rarely use Jehovah/Jehoshua.
