What's amazing is there was a cameraman already standing there. That was truly lucky for him to catch that. His internal compass was working that day. 😂
The stupidest advice possible, too. Humanity has went from living in caves to where we are now, specifically because we have the ability to learn from those that came before. Pretending that you always know best because of some magical, undefinable, invisible "internal compass" is just about the dumbest shit I've ever heard.
I wonder how ultimate warrior and sting coexisted back in the day when they first started out in wrestling because they seem to have completely different personalities.
They coexisted for the money. But when sting was brought into the NWA warrior was PISSED and didnt talk to him till they tagged in WCW. Even after that there was still tensions between the 2.
I agree to an extent, so much bad advice I received as a kid really would have burned me..."Just get a college degree in anything it won't matter!" Yeah it clearly does now. "Just get your foot in the door and be the hardest worker in the room you'll fly up the ranks!" Nah that just gets you taken advantage of. Following my own path is what led to the best result.
@@jdf9456 ok just to recap if one is an accountant keep looking for accounting positions with different companies until u find a company that pays the most for the same work rather than trying to be a manager ? Also I'm not passionate about anyting except music but I don't know how to play an instrument yet
@jessica alvarez Kind of like the video mentions take my advice with a small grain of salt lol but really it's just what works best for you. If you find an amazing company and you're very happy and not worried about just more money per se maybe it will work best to stay there and move up, but if you feel like you're not getting your worth then it's best to look for new stuff rather than assuming you'll be able to climb up to a better spot. I work in Finance similar field and trying to cross into management just wasn't happening for me, trust your instinct!
I think Warrior is partially right. I think sometimes we rely on help from others too much when in actuality the answers are within us. On the flip side, we do need help and wisdom from others to guide us on our path in life.
I think his ex-wife Shari said it perfectly in the Dark Side episode….”His biggest downfall was never being able to see other peoples perspective. He always believed his way was the right way.” We see a lot of that in his motivational speeches. He always goes back to events in his past that shaped his life. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s human nature to relate to what you know. But he wasn’t particularly motivated to look at other ways of being successful.
@@StuUngar "But he wasn’t particularly motivated to look at other ways of being successful." this is an all too common pitfall of a lot of men who think they "made it." Facts are that the Ultimate Warrior sucked in the ring, and he benefited a lot from guys like Pat Patterson leading up to this Wrestlemania VI match People who can't see that there are other avenues to success are the worst. I honestly blame them for poisoning the discourse over the last 6-7 years
@@skippythealien9627 It’s common in people in general. Ive worked as a finance/accounting director at multiple places and every time there’s a lifer and if you dare change something, they get pissed off. Even if the other method gets you to the same place with half the effort. They learned it a particular way and they dont want to do it any other way.
Very True what he says at the start about people being afraid to be quiet and just making noise for the sake of making noise so there isn't enough time for the voice inside them to be heard. Great Philosophy. R.I.P WARRIOR!
The issue is God tries to talk to us all the time but many refuse to hear him or see the truth if people really want to know the unknown follow Christ and see how many loved ones will still love you after u become a servant of Christ and are no longer related to this world and it’s ways.
The problem I have with that way of thinking is it’s limiting and logically fallacious. Being okay with asking for help and being able to be self sufficient don’t have to be mutually exclusive. It’s 100% okay to strive for being a strong independent person AND have the ability to ask for help sometimes. Too much of either ideology can be limiting and harmful more than helpful. That said I’ve always loved the Warrior. RIP my childhood hero.
100%. I grew up thinking that way (of never asking for help as a man) and I still struggle with that, much to my detriment. It’s ok to ask for help. Everybody needs it some times.
@@MarioCavett real warriors never ask for help, you're not a real warrior, you're a girl, you're afraid to listen to that inner voice the compassion inside of you
Humans are a very social species and we need each other for help. Anyone who thinks otherwise is incredibly sheltered with very little life experience. Nobody would have survived alone in the wild. Even in modern times, there are some humans who attempt/attempted it, but they usually go crazy and/or meet their demise at the hands of harsh realities of nature.
I know his grandfather and father both died Young of the same heart trouble.i still don't think all the years of steroid abuse helped I mean he never really quit
Sure hope their “internal compass” is working good cause they’re lost hahah “Two men died of dehydration after not asking anyone for advice on where the hell they were or how the hell to get home” awesome advice man👍
lol, no. that's a terrible advice. no wonder this warrior crap is a terrible human being. making his own decisions that led to his own demise. he would be the last guy on earth to seek advise from.
@@jamesromualdez1405 He got to live the life he wanted. He made the money and gave time to his kids. Didnt need to get in the HHH politics. Coming to advise, dumb parents who can't give time for their kids are the big losers.
I absolutely understand what he means , about asking for advice and guidance from people... if you give someone else that power over your life they can change and manipulate it as to how they see life or how it benefits them, and that compass inside is your own destiny , you know what you have to do , that voice inside your head tells you everyday you just have to believe that voice that destiny which is you and follow it!
For everyone below who thinks this video was about 2 nerds finding there way home with no compass , his last sentence was a metaphor ... it's not about finding ur way home it's about following your own destiny geeez some of you are dumb.
@@danieljoseph9439 Maybe it was a rumor that Rude beat up the Warrior, but Flair was aware of how much of a badass Rude was. Flair grew up in Edina, MN and then attended the University of MN for a short time. Rude was born in St. Peter, MN, went to Robbinsdale High School in Robbinsdale MN, along with Curt Hennig and some other guys who turned out to be wrestlers. He graduated from the Anoka-Ramsey Community College with a degree in physical education. I’m pretty sure it was Flair who said that while Rude was in college he worked as a bouncer at some bars in Minneapolis. He was the one guy you absolutely did not want to fuck with. It didn’t matter if you were 400 lbs, or hopped up on PCP or had a knife...he’d jump right in and wouldn’t back off. He and Haku were the true tough guys.
His overall point was "NOT ASKING FOR ANY HELP"=THE SILVER SPOON... The point he was making was, what us blkmen live through, ITS CALLED TOUGH LOVE, and figuring out what life is about by surviving life's obstacles & not trying to get it easy by using someone else's name"reference" to get it easy

@@DemonDrummer I agree 100% The tough love I've received taught me, not to expect anything, but to prepare for the worst, as in being on guard and not trusting random ppl... Tough love I've received? I can honestly say, I would never do to anybody that doesn't deserve it... In my case, I didn't deserve it, as I was a teen that came up in adoption/foster care/probation male group homes... That tough love, as now I'm 42yrs old, taught me alot, but it has also! damaged me alot... As for receiving help: I remember bk during grade school days, I had a tutor at school, as well as a tutor where I lived when adopted as it was my guardian son named "MARK/MARC"... Point is, when I had this help towards my education, I had someone to come home to as in making sure my assignments were completed and correct... That being said, no wonder my grades were all A's, and me speaking Spanish at such a young age... So yes I experienced both sides of the TOUGH LOVE, VS LOVE & SUPPORT... But the tough love outweighs the love & support... So that's why I can fully understand this video, and feel where the legend Ultimate Warrior was intending to teach these fellas...
Sure this is meant to be funny, I guess, but what he said is absolutely true. No one can tell you which path to walk but you, and asking for help more often than not puts you in debt. Real man talk. 💯
The advice he gave was you have to think for yourself and take initiative. There’s nothing wrong with advice but you can’t expect people to babysit you and tell you what to do all the time. The more initiative you take the better. Gotta figure shit out on your own sometimes!
So you drive a motherfucker out into the desert and leave em? is this a tv. show i havent heard of? are you ribbing? lmfao, perhaps shame on these guys for not realising it but also shame on warrior for being a goof, i could see the Steiner's doing this shit but warrior? warrior was always the shits and in his later years would do crap like this to make himself look like a seasoned veteran. "fucking 56 fucking yeeaaaarss ive been on this earth what the fuck!?"
No the thing he did was called ego and ignorance their is nothing wrong with asking for advice or anything like that to tell someone not to is called ego they think they know it all.
@@adrianquinonez6667 the point of the video was about how you have your own moral compass to guide you the right way not to not ask questions. He told them don’t ask questions when they went with him where he was taking him. Sometimes in life you need to just be able to shut your mouth
Warrior is red pilled and he knows these guys are npcs he was just trying to wake them up. They used their compass by asking the camera man for a ride but the camera man said no way the Ultimate warrior said no.
I was unemployed/underemployed for 4 years. The biggest mistake that I made was asking for help/sympathy/advice. I think it's because people had no idea of my situation and all that they could offer were mere platitudes or telling me that I was not doing the right things when I was looking for work. "You have to pull yourself up by your bootstraps". It's true that my situation was caused by forced errors and laziness on my part. But I was also a victim of bad circumstances. So I worked hard in trying to rebuild my resume and my career. At first, I did work-from-home tech support for $13 an hour. Then I got temporary 3 month contracts as a computer installer and web developer. I must have applied for 1000s of positions and faced many rejections. But with every failed interview, that motivated me to refine and improve my CV until it made me look like the superstar that I aspired to be. I took night classes at my local university. After I did my job search in the morning, I would go out for long walks outside for 4-5 hours which did a lot of good for my psychological well being. Eventually, I finally earned a well paid position at a stable tech company. I didn't rest on my laurels as I worked hard to getting certified in as many tech certifications as I could by making sure that I study 1 hour per day, every day, without exception (sometimes more--especially if I am cramming in the weeks leading up to the big exam). After I was gainfully employed and thriving, I was actually told by the same people who gave me half-baked advice and platitudes found themselves unemployed and told me that I was lucky to have a job. Bootstrappy person even told me: "you have no idea how bad it is out there!". But in retrospect, I actually rebounded and became stronger because I found a way to actually pull myself back up. Warrior has a point: don't ask for advice from others.
A person can walk back but they’re are dangers out in the wild such has snakes and coyotes and mountain lions and I’m sorry but those guys had no weapons to defend themselves against a pack of coyotes or a mountain lion. Sorry but we ain’t fighting a mountain lion with our bear brands and winning.
Interviewer : 'Is there any way that we could maybe,..get a job reference? Warrior : 'Job reference? Warrior : 'You'd have to agree to follow me first.. not ask any questions. *Driving to parts unknown* Interviewer: Where are we going? Warrior: No questions guys.. I said no questions. Interviewer : No..? Warrior : *No questions. That means no noise*
He genuinely thought that he was as big a draw as Hogan in his hey day late 80s early 90s Hogan was the face of WWF the face of wrestling no one was as big as Hogan
Warrior sounded out of breath just talking . He also looked very red. In hindsight it's clear to see he was not well the last couple of years of his life
"I took them to the mountain top. To feel the power of my ancestors... and find their inner compasssss. Mwyahhh!!!" " Oh they were never heard from again, and all they found was their camera?" "Whoops. my bad."
Asking for advice and getting other peoples ideas and suggestions is a healthy and great way of improving oneself. Doesn't mean I have to take it, but the more information I can get to make a decision the better. People who don't want to ask for advice have insecurity issues.
The part it cut out is where Warrior came back and conquered their sweaty bungs when they tried walking back Warrior popped out of the bushes on them and imposed his will on them
Judging by the camera man already there.....I guess 2 things: 1. It was a popular drop off point in Parts Unknown 2. The camera man failed to listen to his inner voice.
