Shameless people dont like people expressing themselves. Its either a problem with liberal ego or shameless conservatives. Going too far leads to problem. Democracy is important because one cant let one with big ego or one too shameless to be the part of the solution in a sense. It needs practical solutions, and seeing it with a focus on protocols, cooperation and overall just not neglect too much. Its never easy but, its a element of trying to work it out i guess. But this is also why its called democracy and not "Communist or Fascist world" which i hope is gonna stay that way
How times have changed. The most amazing thing is that this was made by the U.S. war department. It seems like after Vietnam they stopped symathising with their enemys. If only they had done the same in Korea and Iraq as they did in France, Italy and Germany after the war: Help rebuild the nation so that it would not become a problem in the future.

You should add the 1981 TV movie "The Wave" to this list. It's based on an experiment where a history teacher starts a movement amongst students that attracts more and more followers, only to show them in the end what something like that would lead to.

This is an incredible collection of historic information on the Dulles brothers and other elements of the military industrial intelligence complex and how they have systematically turned the US into a military backed oligarchy. There's a million flavors of "socialism": one kind is communism (terrible). Eh i think he got a point with catholics. Not saying you should legit discriminate people. But devotion cultures like those religious cultures is what has held back scientific advances. Protestantic Christianity is basically. Jesus loves you, ok get back to work. While in catholicism or sunni islam you have to do lots of crap just to get to heaven, cant do this, cant do that. Its historically these types of cultures on a fundamental level that has killed scientific advances in a sense. But people are people, thats true
By 1947 large numbers of Catholics were in the US with a lot of them coming via the immigration waves from Ireland and Italy. Any kind of anti-Catholic rhetoric then, now or in the future is to not be tolerated.

@@l21n18 I wrote this when i didnt get it all figured out. What i mean to say is devotion culture in government is bad. Its just that Catholicism and Sunni Islam has a tradition of being VERY devotion in origin of its culture. This is not to say Protestants cant have this, the difference is they didnt originate as such, where it laid more weight on the bible where Catholics lays it more on Church traditions, meaning it also builds up the importance of devotion... thats where the problem is. They can be good bakers, intellectuals or whatever, problem is when it builds up. On same level if liberal ego builds up it would lead to communism, if religious builds up it will lead to theocracy. I dont know much of Protestant American cultures but i have heard some wacky stories of baptists there. So it all in all depends. But historically atleast, Secularists or Protestants seemed to have been only thing that has worked. It also helps not to fixated so much on people's opinions and rather focus on work or hobbies since it drives one forward
