Filipinos diss the Philippines...they will joke and say that PAL (Philippines Airlines) stands for 'plane always late'.

Halfway through the first word, I realized she didn't mean "$h!...t". The jokes thing I ran into with my Filipina ex. All my foreign friends appreciate the jokes. She'd always say, "You're not funny." They don't get our humor. 😂😅

I have 5 of the same shirts, and 3 of the same shorts easy dress code..

What I'm hearing is foreigners need to respect Filipino cultures but Filipinos doesn't need to respect foreigners cultures. Shouldn't both cultures be respected if trying to have a relationship together? If not it won't last. Couples need to make the effort to learn each other's cultures it should not be one sided

I'm sorry but Philippines deserves plenty of criticism (point #2) as it is far far far from perfect country. Heck I have no issues criticizing USA or hearing others criticize because it too is far from perfect. To ignore reality is to have one's head stuck in one's a$$. Frankly no way in heck would I want to live in Philippines it is just *way* too third world and corrupt. Okay place to visit though. For me Thailand is the place to be, it owns Philippines in every single way except for English language knowledge. Regarding point #10, while I agree that arguing over $1 seems like a waste of time, some times one has to take a stand against the daily corruption and swindling going on. I won't yell or argue or anything like that, I will just no thanks and keep walking and asking different trike drivers until I find an honest one that isn't trying to rip me off for an extra 50 pesos. Or just use Grab which regulates prices (I know shocking right?). Philippines could do a lot better job regulating things if they wanted (oops I just violated Reine cringe rule #2 guess I will never get a date with her LOL)

However, a gene called ABCC11, which is expressed in apocrine glands, is non-functional in 80-95% of East Asians, including most Filipinos. This variant of the gene prevents bacteria from consuming a chemical in the armpits that they use to create body odor, resulting in a faint acidic odor instead of a strong axillary odor. So Filipinos are not likely to smell bad like the rest of the population. So it's quite possibly not an issue of hygiene as much as genetics. But if a person can smell their own body odor, rest assured others can. Take another shower. Some people will do as Albert Einstein did and buy many of the same shirt, shorts, or jeans. It may appear they are wearing the same clothes but they have changed their clothes. Don't make assumptions. I prefer not to talk about myself unless I'm answering a question. Even then I keep it brief. Filipinas can be clingy but guys aren't allowed to do that? I see clingy filipina all the time. Again, CORNY is a subjective word. That means corny means something different to each person. You need to define what it means as does every other filipina. We are having a meltdown over being cheated, being taken advantage of. If your filipina cares, she should make sure you don't get cheated. Filipina make a big deal about cheating. Why doesn't that attitude apply to her man getting cheated? Cheating is cheating. I have no interest in going too fast. It's not good to get cheated and taken advantage of.

Hate to tell you this, Reine, but every Filipina I know likes corny jokes. And most of them weren't girls trying to date me and just laughing for the fun of it. My wife still laughs at my corny jokes, and we've been together almost 8 years now. I'm sure there are some Filipinas with no sense of humor, but most have a good sense of humor and like stupid jokes. The problem with a lot of corny jokes are not that Filipinas don't like them, it's that they don't understand them. As long as guys tell jokes that a Filipina will understand, it's a good thing.

Don't complain about the whole country of the Philippines, cities or provinces. If you want to complain, complain about individual things for example, service by a hotel, food at a certain restaurant, service at a store, bad beach, bad resort, bad taxi company etc. This is OK. But not the entire country or city. Because people will be hurt. But nobody will get hurt if you say that the traffic is bad on EDSA or " I don't like Robinson, better go to SM". Or " I don't like that movie" Just avoid qualifying things with the name " Philippines". I was complaining about one resort not taking credit cards, but I was not saying Filipino resorts are bad. That is the difference! Next: shouting does not work, but whining does. Start " crying" that you are so pitiful that you did not get this or that and show yourself as you are suffering. This is better. Also, do you mean corny jokes or dirty jokes?

The only thing I have said that might be a complaint about the Philippines is the driving. I say if you can drive there you can drive anywhere. The way the traffic is and the bikes lane splitting is wild to see.

I'm still trying to understand #3. Why is personal hygiene an issue. I take 2 or 3 showers a day in the summer in Oklahoma. Once in the morning, when I get off work, and then when I go to bed. Not showering in a hot humid climate with sweat running from your head to your butt would make me gag.

Concerning #6, so ..I take it French kissing and doing the Stanky Leg on the dance floor is a no no, right? 😂

how many times have I been ignored when i speak calmly even when I say hey if you do this thing it will be very bad for me 3, 4, 5 or 10 times. How do you deal with that? I dealt with it buy slightly raising my voice and then walking off. But being a asshole to the waitress for an order that takes awhile is not cool either I have seen plenty of Filipinos shouting like crazy at each other in a very angry fashion????
