@@lukemothug No, both have a wide, ultrawide and telephoto camera. The 8 flip only misses out on OIS. For dentists there is the Oppo Find X3 Pro. They need that ringlight.
I keep seeing reviews from people saying that the Zenfone 7 doesn't work on US carriers, but I also saw a review saying that it works on MINT Mobile? So confusing. Are you based in the US and does it work with your service provider? Do you get 5G? Thanks!
Hi, I have the phone and have used it on two carriers and got 5g on a prepaid company that goes off the att network and now on TMobile. No issues at all.
I'd like to hear your thoughts in terms of "Wired" Headphones... I'm a fan of the headphone jacks, and I liked the asus 6Z alot especially because it had it. But the 7 and 7 pro doesn't have it, yet all other featutes caught my eye in an instant. I'd like to know if you've found a "Working/Compatible" Dongle to use with this phone. (I know these new phones can be really picky in terms of dongles, which can be very expensive for the average joe like me)
@@completelymindfucked I've decided to stick with Samsung's AKG earphones. I currently use one with the Jack on my LG V20, but they also made a Type-C one. So am guessing that'll work with the Zenfone 7/7 Pro. No dongle needed.
Well, as far as I know the ZF7 Pro has OIS whereas the non pro 7 and the ZF8 do not have OIS. The 8 has an underdisplay fingerprint reader and the 7 and 7 pro have them integrated in the power button.
In all fairness this is a horrible review... I have the 7 and now 8 there are a few more differances but yes it's just like apple yearly releases not much change but a few notable differances the processor is a bit better and wifi6e. One of the best features is better cammera software that I hope will fall down to the 7 but not really counting on it. I must say dollar for value and performance no other flagship phone beats ASUS!

Hello, I have the ZenFone 7 but for some reason the battery icon just doesn't work! It stays full the whole time! I've done a factor reset but that did nothing, any suggestions?
I have had the Zenfone 6 for some time now and absolutely love it. I didn't get the Zenfone 7 when It was released, because they didn't release it in the US, so I waited even Longer for the Zenfone 8 only to be disappointed! :( It's pretty much exactly the same as the 7 but in BORING colors! And I also don't see that it is actually selling on the ASUS website to the US :( From what I have read, I don't think the 7 or 8 will work well with US carriers as it doesn't run on the same bands/5G. If I'm wrong, please let me know. I would have loved to buy the 7 but I don't think it will work well on US carriers (I have T-Mobile). Thanks for the video!
Mobile phone industry has really been disappointing the last 6 months. The snapdragon processor has also caused mobile phones to overheat as well being a fail.
Unfortunately I just bought a zenfone 8 flip and foundout it doesn t even have hdmi output through usb (mhl) when zenfone 7 and 7 pro do. Then no optical image stab. for just a bit of power more, not needed. Worst purchase of my life. (oh.. and from where I bought now after 1 month it costs 40 pounds less)
Glad I bought the 7 Pro 2months ago instead of waiting out for the 8 Flip as it's not much of an upgrade over the 7 Pro photos and video are fantastic in daylight and decent at night time!
@@GrantLikesTech But if they managed to design a compact one with every specification almost maxed out .In flip model atleast they should have added a diferent camera setup, wireless charging support, 120hz refresh rate , 6000 mah battery. They could have easily done it.
