I really wanted the Zenfone 7 Pro last year but wasn't available in the US. So I've been waiting for the 8 Pro (Flip) and now I'm heavily disappointed. I cannot find the successor to my OP7P because of the hole punch everyone is doing. Tried out the S21 Ultra and returned it. Camera was great, but nothing really made me feel like I got a better phone and Ive been wanting a flat bezeless display. I never forgot about the punch hole even though everyone says "you'll ignore it over time," but after month 3 I still kept noticing it. Was not a fan.

I was waiting for this smartphone. I was looking for a phone that doesn't have a camera hole, has a fingerprint under the screen, supports micro SD cards and has NFC for paying with the phone and 8 GB RAM. Well, there it is a holy grail, so I will buy it soon ;) It's a pity that the smaller version has a hole instead of a rotating webcam, but it is waterproof, something for something. I would prefer a smaller phone if you can, but I prefer it when there isn't camera hole in front xd

This is minor but I’m spoiled by phones with an IR blaster, would love to see it on a similar Asus phone like the zen 8 I even use it unconsciously with my friends as well and thx to Asus for the headphone jack because a lot of us musicians use or phone’s to listen, play and create music on our phone via wired headphones for each instrument and their keys/notes that don’t die ones the phone battery dies

Asus could put OIS on Flip, they already did with their ZF7 PRO last year so it is not a hardware limitations Asus will kill the Flip series by next year

Asus needs to learn that they gotta dance with the one who brung them.. the flip cam. That's what really made the 6 shine and put them in their light. Showing us in 2019 that you can have a big battery and a jack and a sick flip function. The 6 was great.

Had my eye on Zenfone 8 and Google Pixel 6. Went for Zenfone 8, simply cuz of the compact factor with high end specs. Tired of huge phones in my smol hands. Plus wireless charging is so unnecessary imo.

@GAME SMASHERS it is! a 6.2" flip camera would have made it a top compact phone different from the rest (i would rather increase the phone screen a bit to accomodate the motorised camera but not as big as the zenfone 8 flip.... the zenfone 6 was smaller and has a flip camera and 5000 mah battery

Unfortunately my stupid rebel 5 doesn't have wireless charging I wouldn't trip off of the wireless charging I don't see what the big deal is the big deal to me is seeing that amazing flip rear camera switching to selfie mode that is amazing that means that you have better photo taking ability in the selfie mode you could actually see what you're doing it's going to be better quality this phone seems absolutely amazing as far as I'm concerned

i really wish cellphone companies used this tech on some of their phones for 4 reasons: 1.) Same great image quality as the rear ones since it flips. 2.) No-notch/Full display - ofc that is super amazing without risking in putting cameras behind the display. 3.) Save money from investing in selfie camera materials. 4.) It isn't lame!

Zenfone 8 regular is a great deal. Light in hand, use high chipset sd888, also has 3.5mm audio jack. Sometime i do gaming and found out that bluetooth earpiece has sound delay (audio latency). If using typeC earpiece, the center position of the plug feels not comfortable in hand.

My asus zenfone max pro m2(a mid - range smartphone) is still running on Android 9 with so many bugs. I have lost hopes on this company.. One should consider about this .. I have to restart my mobile each and every time to work properly.. This is not just my mobile.. all the asus zenfone max pro m2 model is stuck with this situation.. But the hardware the company provides is good!.

It's maybe difficult to manage in flip mode, maybe that's the main reason Even they provide ios in zenfone 5z series but they removed in flip camera
